Re: October Girls
Good luck to all the October girls! Won't be long now.
I just had my op 4 days ago, on Thurs 24 Sept. For those who are a little worried I found it is not as sore as you expect at all. Maybe a little uncomfortable afterwards - your boobs are quite swollen and tight and hard, little bit sore at times but usually just when you are due your text lot of pain killers. If I take my cocodamol every 4 hours like hospital told me to then I'm fine. Honestly can't complain - tonsilitis is much sorer than this! I just can't wait now to see the end result, as at this stage they look kinda swollen and like balloons so looking forward to seeing them when they've calmed down.
I hope you all get the result you are looking for and its as painfree as mine has been. I'm only 4 days post op and not regretting a thing - my husband is surprised at how upbeat and painfree I am - so thats a good sign. Hopefully that will make you October girls feel a little bit more at ease and not so worried about the pain aspect. I'm sure you will all be fine. I look forward to hearing how you get on.
Take care and best wishes.

Re: October Girls
Hi Drofty - I know how you feel but I'm sure you will be fine. It seems like your waiting and looking forward to it and then next minute its time and its hard to take in. It starts to really sink in what you are actually doing. Just think about the reasons why you're doing it in the first place and why you went with the surgeon you did. You must have had good reason. Also if it were that bad would some girls go back and get 2nd ops etc or go for other types of surgery. Like I said above, honestly having tonsilitis or getting my tonsil out was worse and I had nothng to show for it at the end. When your op is over you'll have a nice new pair of puppies and I bet you'll be saying the same as me - that is was pretty painfree and worth it! Try to stay calm an enjoy the journey.
Good luck.
Good luck.

Re: October Girls
Im not scared and normally i am a terrible worrier!!! I have been under before and was in a state as I thought the worst would happen, but here i am!!!!
You know that you will be in good hands and must remember that these people are qualified to deal with anything in the event of things going wrong!
Im due for my B/A on 31st October and im so excited i got butterflies, dont know how im going to last till then as i cant sleep for the excitement!!!! I am going to Transform on Wednesday to confirm my sizes with Mr Mounir...I think i might ask him if he gets any cancellations sooner to give me a call!!!LOL

Re: October Girls
I hope all the Oct girls who've had their ba's are all doing ok, I haven't been on here for a week. I'm having mine on weds and it just doesn't seem real yet. I'm not nervous and I think that maybe I should be, it seems for weeks I've thought of little else and now I seem to have chilled out a bit. I did have my first ba dream recently though, I've heard this is common!! xxx
