Anatomical - big difference? Unders?
Have you had anatomicals/seen anyone who had them;
in that case, can you see that they are the "natural breast shape" or no difference to rounds?
Trying to decide if the good shape would make up for the risk of tilting...
I've read somewhere that some surgeons think that the point of anatomicals are lost if you have them under because the muscle squeezes the "flat" anyway...any thoughts?

Re: Anatomical - big difference? Unders?
i have seen anatomicals and i think to look at they look the same as round implant and i think they can both look just as natural as the other one.(mainly if you have unders)
the reason i didnt chose the 'teardrop' implants are because of the above reason, tilting put me off, and also they are more expensive. im happy that i chose round implants.
i do however speak to alot of girls who have had them and had no problems so i think its down to the individual and what they want.

Re: Anatomical - big difference? Unders?
I was told in every consult that there is a small chance that they might turn giving you a weirdly shaped boob and, as there are already a few things that could go wrong with a BA, I didn't want to add an extra possible complication!!

Re: Anatomical - big difference? Unders?
Ok I may be a bit controversial here.....BUT....the reason I think a lot of surgeons don't want to do anatomicals is because it takes quite a bit of skill to get the pocket just right so that tilting doesn't occur. I was happy that my ps had the experience and was confident enough to want to do it, and had seen pics of his work, so I haven't worried too much about it. I'm just being really careful in my recovery so that I heal well.
I have seen sooooo many girls with round implants who look absolutely fantastic and you honestly wouldn't know (esp with unders) but I had a particularly flat chest with no fatty tissue on atall and my ps thought I might get a ridge even with unders. I didn't want to risk that as that would have looked awful...like VB...ewwww! I do think anatomicals settle quicker though, as they're already in that teardrop shape.
At the end of the day I went on his recommendation and I didn't worry about the extra few hundred quid as I was already paying enough! If I had a bit more flesh I would most probably have gone with round unders.

You may be right - to be honest no surgeon has told me anything bad about anatomicals, it was always the patient coordinators - maybe they try to to put you off them from the start just in case there is anything wrong later... anyway I have been advised round implants, I hope it's for the right reasons....

I agree with Nads and weich... you girls have amazing anatomicals!
I suppose it depends on the shape you want. I did consider them, but I honestly couldn't tell the difference between rounds and anatomicals on post of pictures, so I went with rounds.

Re: Anatomical - big difference? Unders?
Woo, thanks!
I think I was just overly paranoid about having them look unnatural...but I've seen many many girls with natural looking rounds too.
I wasn't really worried about the risk of rotation, apparently it's very rare.
I do find though, the top part of my boob feels 100% natural even though I had unders, probably due to having more actual tissue there :)
