Hi Jemmy and other August girls

I'm also 20th August, and almost sorted with the stuff I need ready but not packed. Luckily I'm a day case, so should only need sports bras, book or magazine, antibiotics, and one or two other bits and pieces. I've gone through so much since I booked my BA that I'm not sure what I feel now, I suppose a mixture of nerves and excitement. Probably more nerves, though!

Good luck to you, Jemmy, hope it goes really well, and I'm sure you will be pleased with the results.

My BA is with the Hurlingham Clinic, but they carry out BAs at the Cadogan Clinic. My ex-partner is coming with me, which will help, and a friend is going to pick me up. I'm still not sure about size, but the nurse at the Hurlingham who I spoke to yesterday said that I should leave it in the surgeon's hands (literally!) to decide in the operating theatre.

I suppose I'm nervous because I don't want to be too big and noticable, (especially as I don't want to tell my Mum and sister, who will disapprove), and feel it wouldn't suit me to be too busty. I also don't want to be too small, or it won't be worth it. The expense is also a bit of a worry. Hope they will feel natural after a while and I will be able to do the swimming, yoga and cycling that I used to.

After Thursday I'll post my BA story, other people's have helped a lot, especially if they are encouraging and say that it isn't too painful!
