I'm still waiting for my pre admission pack to come and tomorrow I'll be 10 days until my day.

I'm defo going to be calling first thing in the morning and find out what's going on. I still haven't received a receipt from Wednesday when I paid. I want proof of payment obv.

Will let you know what happens

i had mine through about 2days after i had paid. so yea i would give them a ring and see whats going on. xx

Good job you're on the ball! Luckily you've probably learned lots about what to do pre-op from this forum - but it makes you wonder how people manage without sites like this!!

I will, i'll just explain that Saturday will be my only shopping day left before my op as I'm working full time right up until my date and if I need to get anything I'll need to get it next Saturday.

Letting me know any details the week before isn't very good, what if they say I need to start taking stuff and I can't go and get it lol

Spire. All the previous correspondance I've had has come pretty quick.

I've got my admission stuff and leaflet on what to take but it doesn't say what I should be doing, like washing in anti bac soap etc.

Right I waited for post to come but nothing so I sent an email as I had to go to work. Didn't hear anything so I phoned up.

Explained that I was going in next week and hadn't received a receipt. Her answer was "Did I ask for one" what a response, I thought to myself I've just paid you over £4k and I've got no proof! She also told me that they won't be sending out any further paperwork than what I've got.

Am right annoyed to be honest. Going to wait and see what the reply is to my email as it was on the other ladies to do list.

thats strange u usually get a receipt when u buy sumthing i do always even online get confirmation email to say that they receieved my payment

I've just had an email back saying they will get a receipt in the post today.

She also said that I had all the info they give out when I had my admission letter.

Oh well. Good job I got you lot to pester.

Yea I suppose so. But I haven't been told to rub cream in or been told about arnica (not that I'm taking any)

least I haven't got any last min shopping to do

I didn't get my stuff until a few days before my ba but then I only booked the surgery 4 weeks before my date! I know its annoying and you want the official blurb from them but to be fair hun you probably do know more than most and the official paperwork won't tell you much more than your admission time which sometimes aren't decided until a few days before.

Still annoying tho. How did you get on ringing them?

I wouldnt worry hun, i went with transform and i wasnt advised to take arnica or to wash in antibac soap the morning before, some of the girls were told not to wear deodorant either but i did and everything was fine for me, if need be you can always have another shower when you get there hun!

You must be getting really excited now, not long for you xx
