Lefty still hasn't dropped
Hey girls,
Quick question - my righty has dropped and is looking fantastic and natural but lefty hasnt really changed since day 1. It's still quite high and round and looking a bit swollen but it's been almost 3 months now. I know lefty was the bigger of the two to begin with but the difference wasn't enough to warrant different sized implants.
At my last check up, Mr Liew agreed the difference wasn't great and said that if nothing has changed by September he will 'do something about it'...I just don't have a clue what this 'something' could be.
Has anybody else had this and had 'something' done about it by their surgeon? If so, what was the 'something' you had done?
Thanks girls,
Jeni xx

Re: Lefty still hasn't dropped
He would possibly do a pocket revision and move the implant down a bit and make the pocket smaller at the top so that they are even x

Thanks Nads. Do you know if I would need to take more time off work if he deciides to do that? Just i only have 7 hours holiday left for the year

Possibly as it's surgery. Can you not take it off as a sick day, or unpaid leave?

Nope coz I've already got unpaid leave booked off. I guess I could try get booked in on a fri afternoon or weekend.
Is another op the only way my lefty can be fixed?

Re: Lefty still hasn't dropped
Its so irritating, isn't it.
I wouldn't mind so much if they were both like lefty or both like righty, its not the shape that bothers me, its just that they look like they belong to two completely different people lol.
Well, ill let you know what Mr Liew decides to do in september. Until then, if anyone has anymore info or ideas, gizza shout.

Hi Roxy
Still no change. I keep leaning to the left in the hope that might help lol. Gonna call the hospital today to arrange my september check up.
I really hope I don't need a revision op coz my scars are healing beautifully.
