sun lotion and scars
I'm about to enter week 9 after my BA and lipo, i havn't used ANYTHING on my scars yet and i wanna go out in the sun, the sun lotion wont affect my scars will it? I got told to be very careful as moisturisers can re-open the scars but like...9 weeks...they're gunna be relatively healed by now aren't they? my lipo keyholes definitely are but i can't really tell with the boobs cos i can't see them as easily lol

Re: sun lotion and scars
you don't have to worry about any creams or lotion opening up your scars hunny, they will be well healed now.
i would say it's probably best to cover your scars up until a year really hun as the sun can make them turn purple.....which is irreversible.
i go to the sunbed once a week and put plasters over my scars, you would look kinda odd mind you if you were sunbathing topless
at the very least put total sunbock on them hun.

Hi Bock
Lovely piccie by the way, u look great......I was told no sun on my scars for 18 mths. So Im going to wear tankinis I bought from Primark when we go away shortly. Wouldnt normally wear those but think safer right now. The other option I thought of was to wear normal bikini tops and put a crop top over them for extra coverage when sunbathing. Bay Trading had some a while back dont know if they are still selling them though. xxxx
