I'm 25days post op today and I noticed that one of my scars has lots of dry skin around it. Now I know cos I'm not 6weeks yet I cant put anything on it but I just wanted to see if this was normal cos I know when you cut your leg ect you get dry skin when its healing. Its also abit itchy but I guess thats common too? The other scar doesnt have any dry skin around it but does itch sometimes. xx

Yeah its normal hun i was the same its just part of the healing process and should stop itching so much soon.

I would ask your surgeon before you use anything on them as they may still be open so it wont be good to use bio oil if they are i started putting creams etc on mine from 7 weeks.

Thanks girls I thought it would probably be quite normal at the stage I'm at. I'm seeing my ps next monday so I'll ask if I can start putting cream on them. xx

Mine were like that and I had almost peeling/flaky skin on my boobies too - yukky. All fine now though just pink neat scars.

I used heal cream over my scars but must admit kind of out of the habit now mmmm maybe should carry on! xxx

Yes, quite normal - start with a bit of bio-oil when you get the all clear from your PS x
