Consultations!
Hey all! Not posted on here for ages but have been reading and checking in with what's been happening!
Well it's finally the time for me to start seriously planning my BA! My second daughter has recently stopped breastfeeding so my boobs are mine again, albeit a deflated version of what they once were!
My question is who did you go with to your consultations or did you go alone? Also for anyone that has had their BA after breastfeeding how long were you told you had to wait after finishing feeding? From my reading & contact I've made it seems it can be 3 months but also 6 months....guess it depends on the surgeon?
Thanks :)

Re: Consultations!
Hello!!! Yay congrats on the serious boobie planning!!
Yep babies do literally suck the life out of boobs - they ruined mine and even after BA I can still tell I breastfed!
I've only just got mine done and my youngest is 5 but I started looking into it when he was only 3 months old and transform told me it would have to be at least 3 months or until the milk had completely gone.
I remember it being a good few months for my boobs to totally deflate but prob not as long as 6 months.
Good luck with all the planning! Xx

Re: Consultations!
Oh and I went on my own to consultations but once I had chosen my surgeon (I saw 4 in total) I bought my husband along to the 2nd consultation to discuss size and all the finer details xx

Re: Consultations!
Thanks so much!! Yeah I used to have nice pert 34D boobs but now, well I have no idea what size I am but will be surprised if I am even a B cup! Probably should get measured as desperately need a couple of bras that fit until I have them done!!
Yeah I was thinking of going alone and then bringing hubby along once I was further down the road so to speak!
My milk dried up pretty quickly after my first so thinking it will again but yes 3 months does sound about right!
As for choosing a surgeon....this is going to be tricky!

Re: Consultations!
No surgeons in mind yet! Think I need to take the plunge and book a consultation or two and go from there! I recognise the name of your consultant? Did you go for a BAAPS surgeon?
I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed about the decision lol but don't plan to have them done until end of July/August so hopefully have plenty of time!

Re: Consultations!
If you are unsure where to start it might be worth having a look if there are any free events near you. I met my surgeon for the first time during an information evening where he gave a short presentation about cosmetic surgery and then saw everyone for a private mini consultation. I found it very useful and it was a way to have a chat and meet a BAAPS surgeon for free before deciding to book a full consultation.

Re: Consultations!
Yes mine was baaps registered. He was on body shockers the other night so maybe you recognise the name from that?
Maybe start checking out surgeons at local private hospitals and try a big commercial one like transform or hospital group just to get as much info as poss! Xx

Re: Consultations!
Totally agree, find out what clinics are local and what surgeons are on offer then do a bit of research on them. Best of luck and fingers crossed you find your perfect surgeon x

Re: Consultations!
I was left with deflated post breastfeeding boobs too. I had round first and not waiting a lift I found I was left with snoopy dog deformity where my saggy breasts hung off the round implants and lookEd deformed. I then had them replaced a year later with larger anatomical implants that filled out my breasts giving me a mini lift. I made a mistake first time booking with the first surgeon I saw and got carried away. My second surgeon was amazing.
