Chest and arm pain? Empty Chest and arm pain?

Post by mrspb 1st December 2015, 9:52 am

hi ladies

I'm 5 days PO nipple lift, 430hp overs and TT. I've been getting pain/being uncomfortable as expected on the front of my chest where the implants are but last night I woke up with a different pain inside my chest to the left and a tingly/shooting pain down my left arm. I fell back to sleep about an hour later and woke up and it was gone but it has come back again. Has anyone else had this? Is it normal? Xx

When you say inside your chest do you mean near your heart? I commented on the other post but this is more detailed. Xx

It could be something completely different and I had this after an op on my tummy (not a tuck or c-section, was ectopic pregnancy). I was in a lot of pain but it came and went, nurses where positive it was trapped wind due to the GA, told me to drink plenty peppermint tea and go for a walk. It took about 24 hours for the wind to travel to an escape route but oh boy the relief. As with any pain you should run it past your Ps or nurse. Hope that it is something simple like wind xx

Chest and arm pain? Empty Re: Chest and arm pain?

The arm pain sounds like a nerve thing. It could just be that while you're all swollen, something is pressing on the nerve causing the tingling. Its absolutely fine, nothing to worry about. If the tips of your fingers start to go numb though, flag it to your surgeon asap.

The pain is going to be moving all around, chopping and changing daily. Just try to stay on top of your meds and you'll be fine. Dont worry about waking up for them though, your body will let you know when you're in pain and need more.
