Sports Bra ???
When i had my second consult last week I asked my surgeon what i will need for after my ba. He said i will be in astrap for a week then into a sports bra.
What sports bra should i get. I know i cant go get this now as will need to be measured for it, I think? I'm guessing they dont work like the Macoms.
I just really didnt want to go sports bra shopping a week after surgery. Would i be a ok with a Macom do you think or should i just stick to what my surgeon says?

M&S do some nice zip up ones and a two-pack of sports bras which are both fab, but you'll need to know your size (you could always guess & order online for home delivery if you don't want to go out?). I was out and about after a couple of days- you might find you're desperate to actually leave the house after a while!

Re: Sports Bra ???
I've grown very fond of my m&s sports bras (especially the 2 pack ones)! I've just had my 6 week follow up this morning and he said I can wear any bras I want as long as I cut out the wire but I am not quite ready to give up my sports-bra-comfort! Lol

I don't see why a macom would do any harm as its kind of the same principle as a sports bra isn't it! Maybe ask your surgeon if he'd be ok with it. The beauty is that you don't need to know your size! You could always swap back to a sports bra once you are up to shopping etc. I know how you feel - you just want to be organised and have it all there but as kay-uk says - you might get bored of resting and fancy giving the new boobs an outing! Re: Sports Bra ???
When they say sports bra, they just mean a stable non wired bra. So yes, your macom would be perfectly fine.
However, if you did want to switch to a 'sports bra', first check what impact he'd prefer. Faves are the M&S 2pk, M&S zip front, Shock absorbers, Triumph Triaction, and Panache non wired. Its best to wait until your swelling has completely gone before getting these though, about 3wks. Or you could get an extender to make it bigger.

Re: Sports Bra ???
Yeah not too bad thanks. Pretty tight but no pain as such so that's good. But they are very swollen still and righty nipple is pointing to the side so much I really can't see how it will settle central... But I must stay positive! I know there is loads of changes!
