thehospital group ladies, am I supposed to shower at home with hibiscrub before I go in for my op? I have heard some people mention it but I can't see it in my paperwork

Re: Hibiscrub?
I did this even though I wasn't advised to. Realistically your skin will be thoroughly prepared in theatre once your asleep so it's kind of unnecessary..but I wanted a bit extra piece of mind!

Okay fab Thankyou Kay. I have an odd question for you, could you count the hooks downwards on your macom please. I'm not sure if I bought the wrong one, mine seems really short x

I know lol scary! I'm determined to do it, even if my ticker seems to be moving further away haha!! I keep thinking what if I wake up and they are gigantic or I hate them! I'm sure everyone Feels like this though. I feel like I'm stalking threads to see if anyone has the same sizes as me so I can look at their avi's!

Re: Hibiscrub?
THG dont require you to use Hibiscrub, just that you're clean and unperfumed. The rooms have an en suite walk in shower, so you can shower there, or first thing. Just no perfume, deoderant, strong smelling lotions etc.
You will be fine. I assume you're going to Dolan park? The nurses are all lovely there and really help to put you at ease. Keep yourself busy today to try not to think about it too much!
