6 weeks post op, measured today!
I couldn't wait any longer! I went to debenhams today to get measured (nowhere else to go locally) and bought some non wired t shirt bras, they are very comfy as they have a nice wide band & £20 each so not bad value either!
I am measuring as a 34DD which is exactly what I said I wanted to be post op so spot on!!

They look waaaaay bigger than that! At least you can put your mind at ease now! I definitely get measured at a lingerie store in a few more weeks though.

Wow eeee look at that cleavage! You must be over the moon! I bought some pretty lacey non wired bras from H&M today they are lovely and it's so nice to wear normal bras. Not up to wires yet. And I think I'm 32DD but the ones from H&M are in clothes sizes which is much easier! Xx

Re: 6 weeks post op, measured today!
Thanks everyone! I'm going to get measured at Boux Avenue in a few weeks, not sure how good Debenhams are but was my only option locally. I've got a bit of a gap at the front under my boobs so wondering if it's not quite the right size, anyway they'll do for the time being, it's great to get a normal bra on! They do give me ace cleavage though!! Very happy with that!!!

If you have a gap in your bra under boobs then the cup is way too small xx

Re: 6 weeks post op, measured today!
Wow your looking fab in your AVI, I love that bra you have on, is it debenhams own brand? I may have to go and investigate, most of my bras so far have been from there as they have some lovely ones :-)
Congratulations, getting measured is such a boost isn't it! I had gaps in my bras at first Hun as they hadn't dropped so didn't quite fill the cup properly, so that could be why, or as the others have said it may be too small (I'm no expert on fitting bras, just buying them haha) xxx

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] yes it's debenhams own brand, was going to buy the Freya but they didn't have it in store! It's called the comfort non wire t shirt bra.
I have a feeling I may measure differently in another store but I'll wait another few weeks again to let them settle some more! Rightie is still a little higher than leftie so hopefully that'll sort itself out soon enough!

Re: 6 weeks post op, measured today!
Thanks Hun, I will have a look for it next time I go in. I tried the Freya deco non wired bra on in bravissimo but it just didn't fit right, the one I have on in my AVI is a Freya deco wired bra but fits fine :-/ Yours looks very similar and it's half the price of the Freya so I'm looking forward to trying it on. Thanks!lje1983 wrote:[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] yes it's debenhams own brand, was going to buy the Freya but they didn't have it in store! Don't worry to much about them being uneven, they will probably take turns in it until they settle properly :-) Great cleavage by the way, congrats x

Re: 6 weeks post op, measured today!
The gap in the cup is likely because youre still early post op and the boob is still D shaped. Once you fluff and theyre more 'fluid', they'll fill the cup better. Or its just plain too small!

Re: 6 weeks post op, measured today!
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] they've dropped really well now they are definitely more tear drop than D shaped from the side now, but yes still a way to go until totally healed & settled.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] hahaha! My husband still has to double take sometimes when I walk past etc! Amazing to think how much I hated my old boobs, I'm in love with these newbies big time!

Re: 6 weeks post op, measured today!
At 6 weeks post op my boobs were smaller than they are now (10 weeks PO) so I bet yours settle more and you go way up in size as they look amazing and def bigger than a DD. congrats tho def go to Boux Ave as they do a proper measuring and it's lovely x

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] I went to debenhams today to get one of those bras, they are lovely material eh, so soft! I tried a 30E on but it was too small, the fitter said I need a 32E but they are are out of stock everywhere, gutted, I couldn't get a 32DD either in any of the colours but hopefully they will re-stock soon. I will be stalking their website till they get them back in lol. Did manage to get a lovely 32DD floozy set though so not a wasted journey :-) x

Re: 6 weeks post op, measured today!
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] yeah they're super soft aren't they! Worth waiting till they come into stock as they are comfy & supportive without feeling too restricted like a sports bra!
The more I wear the 34DD though the more I'm sure it's the wrong size! Still got the gap under my boobs at the front but as those bras have a wide band underneath it's almost gathering under my armpits and because it's quite a thick padded material you can see it under tight vest tops!! Maybe I'll make a trip to Boux Avenue sooner than I thought!
