Average age for a boob job? Nosy question...

I read that the average age for getting breast enlargement is 34. It's interesting because I always had in my head it would be much younger than that (ie younger women aren't as confident and often feel they need to make themselves more attractive to the opposite sex - I know I felt this way). However it obviously does make sense you would be older. I have wanted bigger boobs all my life but only now, at age 37 I have the means to get it done (money), the confidence to know I am truly doing this for myself and not to impress anyone. Also I am done with having children so I don't have the worry of them changing again. i secretly hoped that having children might improve them and make them bigger (the way some women put on weight that is hard to lose after kids) - how wrong was I?

So I just wondered how old you all were - am I old compared to you ladies? Just being nosy I guess - trying to prove what I've read!

Average age is bs! The girls that come through here are 18-65! And for all reasons, didn't develop, post kids, or just plain want them bigger!

I was 25 (well, one month from 26), but I would have done it much much earlier if I could have afforded it, as I've known I wanted one since I was 15.

I got mine done in July and I am 25 :) Always wanted them done but didn't seriously consider it until I had the funds in order to do so (and the balls!!)

I'm same as [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]...In that I always knew I wanted one, but money was an issue. ..but the main reason it took me so long, was that it doesn't last forever, at some point you have to go under the knife again. That put me off massively for a long time.

But, aged 31, my thoughts and feelings towards that whole boob area were just Ugh ...yuk, gross, I look 10!

So, I just jumped in and did it. I had finished having my kids too so I just thought,  right, this is for me. I'm going for it 

'm hoping to start a fund in the new year for future boobie surgery so it's not a massive hit. Hopefully a looking time into the future like!

I'm 26 and That's when I got mine done

I had mine 4 days before I turned 42 !!.... Never had boobs but suddenly decided to go for it... Wish I'd done years before now !

It took years of being miserable about my lack of boobs to eventually pluck up the courage at the age of 46 and have the op!

I've only just turned 29 and I'm hoping to get them done in November.

The whole debate about waiting before/after kids really bothered me. It was actually my mum in the end who was like 'look, you have one life, why wait? Just get it done now if it'll make you happy' and it really has :) I feel I can really enjoy them at this age too in all the lovely little dresses and bikini's, girly holidays and lingerie!

I expect I will get them done again after kids if I'm unhappy with the look of them, so already I've had to think about a boob job fund number two!

I was 35! Always wanted boobs (was blessed with zilch!) but never felt confident or comfortable enough to get them done before. Wasn't until I got to about 34 that I thought why the hell not!! I'm glad I waited though.

Hi I had mine done when I was 39. I always said when I hit 40 I would. I also said I would have Botox and fillers which I have done. I feel fantastic xx

I'm 23 and I'm having surgery tomorrow morning. I first met my surgeon when I was just turning 18 and I've wanted them since I was about 16, I always knew I was never going to have a remotely full cup size and didn't want to wait until after kids, want to enjoy my body now.

Annerichley - I feel the same - weirdly I feel more happy and confident about my looks than I ever have done - even pre BA. I am def at the right age to get it done. Part of me wishes I'd have done it sooner but I recon there is still a few years of bikini wearing for this old bird yet! Xx

I'm 6 weeks post op and I'm 31. I wanted to wait until I knew I was done having babies! 2 is enough for me! The 30's is when I get my body back to how I want it and the boobs were a huge factor!!

I'm 38! I started being serious about getting it done about 10 years ago but just wasn't in a position financially to do it x

Had mine done 2 weeks after my 24th birthday! 
BA never even crossed my mind until my friend had hers done a year ago then i started looking into it and so glad i did!
Most money ive ever spent but 100% worth it and im so pleased to say i managed to do it all on my own too. Boyfriend did offer to help but i didnt want him thinking he owned them at all! xx

Im 22 and had mine done in May this year. Went for consultations at 18 but couldnt really afford it then.
Im young but glad i am being selfish at this age and getting it done now! I would of only waiting another 10 years being unhappy and regretting not getting it done sooner! xx

Hey hun I'm 25. Always wanted it done. . Hated looking like a little boy. I too had the before /after kids debate (i dont have any children yet)  I decided to go for it recently just because my self esteem hit rock bottom. . I'm going to miami next month and thought I am NOT going to the beach with my normal padded gel bra. So happy I did it.. it's amazing how much confidence it's given me xxx

This list is so interesting! It's weird how different in ages prone people are to what I guessed lol just goes to show?
I'm 31 and only just wanted one since having kids tbh, I'm far too impatient to wait if I'd wanted one sooner. I grew up with massive boobs and gaining and losing weight and breastfeeding stood them away so I wanted them back :) my husband says (in a very diplomatic way) that they're enter than they were even when he met met age 19! So test
