Re: Late admission :(
My admission was 9am and I didnt go in till 3:30pm! I was STARVING!!!
Unfortunately sometimes you just have to wait. I took it as a good sign the surgeon was taking her time, she is a notorious perfectionist apparently!
Try and relax although I know it's hard. Lots of mags and TV! xxx

Re: Late admission :(
On the plus side I can have breakfast before 8, I'll be at home rather than on my own bored waiting in hospital, i assume as its 3pm admission i won't have too long to wait for surgery?? Then if i can I'll just sleep the night away after, have breakfast next morning then wait to be chauffeured home!!

Hey [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]!! I just had my call too! Makes it all the more real doesn't it :-). Let's keep in touch on Monday to try and keep each other sane lol! My admission time is still 7am but like @blush says, doesn't necessarily determine the op time eek!!! I'm trying to plough through my work today as so much to try and finish off before my "2 weeks annual leave" but feeling very distracted ha ha!! Xxx

Ah, lucky, you get to have breakfast! I had a midnight snack before mine! I had an early surgery, so it wasn't too bad, think i went in for 10am. Hopefully you wont be waiting around too long, just make sure your organised and then get a good book to keep your mind off it, it'll happen before you know it.

Like the others have said, just think at least you can have some brekky! Take your tablet and some magazines or books to keep you occupied although me and hubby spent most of the morn watching 'Topgear' & 'Storage Hunters' on the tv in our room lol!
Good Luck, it will be great
