Itchy insicions
hi girls, I'm just over 7 months PO books are great but my right insicions is really itchy. I can understand it if they are still healing but not at 7 months. My right scar is more red than the other. The other seems to be as you would expect at 7 months. Should I be bothered ? Is it normal at 7 months PO for them to be itchy still? Xxxxxx

Re: Itchy insicions
I havent a clue as im still only a month post op.. But my right incision has always been more flared up than my left who is behaving perfectly and looks neat and less red! I always assumed it was because im right handed, my right will take longer to heal (Including incisions) but not too sure?? Xxx

Re: Itchy insicions
They could well still be healing on the inside, so it could be that. Is there any irritation or rash? New bra? New detergent? Maybe the bra is getting on a bit and irritating it, or is a tad too small now. I say if it persists over a week, with nothing reducing symptoms (ice, antihistamine), or if you develop a rash, call the clinic.
