Re: Painful incision
It could be a reaction to having the strip removed, your skin can 'relax' a bit now. Plus it's normal for them to be sore, they're still very much healing. If you do find them rubbing, stick a panty liner in your bra!

Re: Painful incision
Hi it will be sore still as you are only very new po. I think we expect too much from our body's at times. You have had major surgery! As long as it's not red and oozing it will be ok. It will be sore for a little while yet and you have probably annoyed it a little from removing steri strips. If you are really concerned you can call the clinic. Xx

Re: Painful incision
The incisions were the only things that were uncomfortable for me at it was about the time you are now post op.
They drove me mad and I took painkillers for a few days and then it passed. It's all the healing going on and a good sign so long as they aren't hot or weeping xx

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] same as [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] for me as well really. My incisions were the thing that i was most aware of, especially as i started to let myself move about a bit more freely. Twisting & stretching up made me very aware of them & had a couple of days when they would just randomly twinge but assuming it's all part of the healing process as they've been absolutely fine xx

Re: Painful incision
Hey thanks ladies! I have been putting the cup material from my padded bras inbetween the incision and sports bra and has helped a little. If it gets really bad il ring the clinic but at the moment they look like they are healing well! Xxx
