Painful shower???
I have a power shower and I find the jets on my boobs so uncomfortable, I couldnt say painful really but its a horrible feeling. I've been having baths instead cos I cant bear the feeling!! Does anyone else get this or is it just me!

Re: Painful shower???
Maybe do that then just until your boobs are a little less sensitive? Or when you shower, don't sit your boobs right under the flow. Have the shower on your back and let the water run over your boobs and use a flannel to wash? Xx
Re: Painful shower???
I had the same thing, it took months before I was able to stand front ways in the shower.
Re: Painful shower???
I had my first shower yesterday and did it with my back to the shower as I was worried it would hurt......you do become very protective don't you  it was a lovely shower my partner walked in the bedroom after and gave me a strange look as I was drying my scars with the hair dryer xxx

Awwww you're definitely not the only one babe. I too had this. I think anyone with sensitive nipples will cringe at the thought of the shower water beating down on them..or maybe some might quite like the pain hahaha. Xx
Re: Painful shower???
I hate the really strong power showers! My boyfriend has 1 and I found myself hiding in the corner of the bath scared
If you don't turn it on fully does it make it less powerful? I found this helped with his! Xx

No it only has one dial and when you turn it on it full power and the more you turn it up the hotter it gets but the power stays the same

Re: Painful shower???
I have a power shower but I have a head that can controls the flow so it's not so hard. The massage one pins ya to the floor I did just let the water run over my back and down my front though after my surgeries. Nips were far too sensitive. Xx
Re: Painful shower???
Yeah that's what my mums is like which is where is was after my op. back to the shower I think is the best option however powerful the shower, unless it dribbles out lol xx

Ergh I hate this too 5stonedown!!! Even if it's lesser power, the feeling it gives me in the pit of my stomach so sensitive! I wasn't allowed to have a bath, once I got my dressings off, until I was 6 weeks PO (which was Thurs just past) so I have my magazine, candles and new posh bubbles I bought yesterday for my soak tonight.... can't wait! I'm so sad

I was lucky I was allowed to bath after 3 weeks! But no public bathing for 6 weeks!?! I assume this means swimming pools but when I first read it I thought "imagine having a public bath! Yuck!" But then when u think about it thats what you are doing in a swimming pool!!!!
