Hospital admision times... again.
I've just realised that it's Friday already and I haven't heard yet when my admission time is for Tuesday. :pale: I've literally just sent my pc a text and an email... think I will "up the panic stakes" a bit more tomorrow if I sill haven't heard and phone them.
When did you post op girls get your phone call?

I couldn't wait until tomorrow so I've just phoned MYA now! My pc wasn't there, but I was put through to the nurse and told that my admission time is 7.30am.
Looks like I'll have to be an early bird on Tuesday morning!

I've just put my postcode and Highgate hospital postcode into the AA Route finder and it's comimg up that the journey will take 1 hr and 17 minutes... I reckon I should leave a little longer just in case the traffic's bad... then again I don't suppose it'll be too bad at 5 o'clock in the morning. I'm rambling now aren't I?!

Hun, dont tell them that!! I went with MYA and even though i was a daycase first op and lived 1hr 20mins away from the hosp, it was fine bu this time i was told that they have new rules and that you cant be further away than 1 hours drive when you leave! I had to tell them that i would stay in a hotel an hour away!! Just dont bring it up as the hospital never asked me :)
I was also in at 7.30am ad had op at 9.30, was first on list so fingers crossed it will be same for you xxx

Oh thanks for the heads up Em... that's worth knowing. The hospital is only 48 miles away, so I'm sure we'll not be in the car too long (at least that'll be what I tell them ).
