Well all I can say is what an  ARROGANT  response from my surgeon. I actually can not believe how far up his own a@#$ his head is... Still didn't really answer any of my questions that I had asked in my email and finished it off by wishing me luck finding another surgeon.

I'm totally at a loss......
I'm fuming. ....
I'm embarrassed that I even trusted him with my breast

Heartbroken x

What the actual crud?! I wouldnt have that [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] honestly.. thats not good enough! And what kind of professional responce is @wishing you luck finding another surgeon'?! Im absolutely fuming for you! Dont let this drop, no matter how hopeless this all seems to be. That is not acceptable!! Im sorry to hear youve been treated like this :-( xx

Well at the moment I just feel sick that I let him touch me..... Once I calm down a bit I will have to think where I go from here. I am shocked but really not surprised so many surgeons are so quick to take your money aren't they. Xx

Which clinic did you go through? I think you need to escalate this. I'd go back to him and say 'thank you for your response, but I dont believe you've answered my questions satisfactorily'. Reiterate your questions and concerms, he has not done his job properly and you expect him to correct his mistakes. If he does not accept full responsibility, you will be escalating this up the proper channels within the clinic. At the same time, start putting something together to go up the complaints system.

What an absolute ar*e!! I cannot believe a professional surgeon would put you in this position, it's appalling!!
Good luck finding another surgeon?!?! Is he for real? God it's made me so mad so god know how it's made you feel. I am so sorry. 
I totally agree with the girls, you cannot let this drop. As Charlii says go back to him, reiterate that although the clinic he operated under originally has ceased trading, he is still practicing and the fact he hasn't fulfilled the criteria of the op and he knew it was likely to fail means he must take responsibility for it. 
Please speak to citizens advice too and baaps for more advice. 
This is totally unacceptable and I hope it's ringing alarm bells for other ladies that are prospective patients.
I don't doubt he has a good track record with lots of happy ladies, the fact he's dealing with you like this with no compassion at all is disgusting. 
Please don't give up xx

Thank you. I'm just so upset that he not answering queries just sort of going round the houses.
I got him so wrong and that's my problem. He seemed so professional. Just missed the fact that he was an **naughty word**.

Nothing more ugly than a man who can't admit when he is wrong!!!!! 

He does have lots of happy clients and I have seen lots of post op pics to prove that. ..I only hope they never have a problem. X.

Thanks Vicky. I'm still really upset over it. I can understand that the original company went bust , therefore I lost all my aftercare but he just so lacks compassion. I will never recommend him to anyone now. I will keep you posted hunni.xxx.

I'm so sorry you're having to go through this. He will only be hurting himself in the long run. As you know, I had a consultation with him and as a result of your post, I wouldn't go near him now, even if he was my last resort. He will lose business because of his selfish and arrogant attitude. 

One thing I wanted to say to you though is you have done nothing wrong and you didn't get him wrong so please don't blame yourself. I know how angry you must be and you'll feel violated by this surgeon. I went through the same with my first surgeon. He also presented himself as a talented, confident surgeon. Then when it all went wrong, he turned as quick as a snake into a condescending, arrogant prat who refused to help. 

You will come out the other side French but it can be a long fight. I fought for 15 months but got a result from the company in the end. I'm now moving forward with a wonderful surgeon who is everything the fist one isn't. 

Please give yourself time to get over the hurt then go after this guy with everything you've got. Even if you got some sort of partial refund, that would be something to help you move on and find a surgeon who really cares. We will all be here to support you through it. It's worth fighting for.

I know your right and I have got to fight this out , when I get over the initial shock of finding out he doesn't seem to care!!!

It's so wrong that they can give you all this bull and make you think you have the best surgeon ever then run a mile when it goes tits up eh

I think you're doing the right thing hun. You need to cry, shout, get angry then comes the acceptance that it's actually happened to you. 

Once that's out your system, try to take the personal emotion out of it and start the process of getting what you are absolutely due. 

Everyone is different and you need to do it in a way that works for you. I treated it like a very important project and only one outcome would do. With every letter and email I sent, I got stronger and stronger and the hurt just started to drift away. I got so determined, my letters began to present themselves more like legal documents. In the end they knew I'd put up such a strong case, it was easier for them just to give me what I wanted so I'd go away and leave them all alone. Sometimes I would spend hours on one letter but it made me feel so empowered that I'd done my home work and put up a great fight. 

You'll get there Hun, but it has to be when you're ready. Xxx

So sorry to hear this. Great words and advice for blacksparkledstarr. Good luck, you deserve better. It seems this surgeon may run his business in a similar vain to a conveyor belt clinic but is wise enough for it to be his own clinic as that way it makes even money. Clearly not in it to improve the lives of women who want surgery. I bet he's never practiced breast surgery within the Nhs, probably only went down this route for the money! Just my opinion obviously and might be wrong!

As Charli has said I would email him back asking for a further reply as he didn't answer your specific questions so you have it for your records when up to taking it further.
I cannot believe that a professional would act in such a manner & leave you without resolve to the issues you are having.
There's lots of good advice already given & we are all here to support you.
