Bit of a rough day
So i think i've had the dreaded day 3 after my incredibly easy day yesterday. Still not really pain but very uncomfortable today & my right side feels so tight & movement's a lot more restricted. By no means a very bad day but yesterday definately lulled me into a false sense of security. Keeping on top of my meds & taken it a little bit easier today & going to have another early night & hope that tomorrow's a bit better xx

Day 3 is when the GA leaves your system, so you feel pretty crappy and drained. Your hormones will be in flux too. Stay on top of your meds, you'll be feeling better in a couple days.

Thanks ladies. Still can't really complain. Hasn't been pain so much as VERY uncomfortable. Righty's definately the one that's complaining! Starting to feel a little bit better & already tucked up in bed watching a film prepped for an early night xx

Oh no, sorry to hear this lovely. Definitely keep taking your meds every 4 hours to try and keep the discomfort at bay. Hopefully you will feel better tomorrow after a good sleep but take it easy and rest xx

I remember this! I was so a surprised how good I felt, practically bounced out the hospital like 'I'm fine!' Then I think it was day 2/3/4 it started to hit me. Nausea and morning boob galore!! It gets better though Hun, so hang on in there :-) get some crap telly on and some treats! xxx

Re: Bit of a rough day
I had to get up at about 3am to wee & thought i was going to cry! But woke up again at about 5am for a pillow shuffle & felt loads better & then woke up again at 8am & feeling so much better than i did yesterday! Still on top of my meds but feel like i can actually move my right arm today - felt like i wanted it in a sling all day yesterday - and feeling much less tight. Still getting morning boob whenever i stil up but it's lasting a lot less time xx

Re: Bit of a rough day
Glad you're feeling a bit better hun. Day 4 was the worse for me as I was just sooo tired. I felt sick when I woke up cos was that sleepy and just didn't want to be awake but knew I needed to stay awake or wouldn't sleep all night.
I had a restless night last night but luckily it's only been my second one. My right incision is giving me a bit of jip. It's really itchy so I know it's healing and I think maybe the weight of the boobs is heightening it...but if that means they are dropping I'll take the discomfort!
My blummin foot is really hurting me today too as think I've been neglecting that while I've been focussing on my boobs so I've just taken a painkiller and going to try and go back to sleep for a couple of hours xx

Re: Bit of a rough day
The difference 24hrs has made is incredible! Been out for some food, have LOADS more movement in my right arm than yesterday - not that that would be difficult! Very bloated belly which doesn't seem to be disappearing anytime soon & the odd incision twinge today. Still feeling tired but been sleeping quite well at night xx

Re: Bit of a rough day
The bloated belly is from the GA and pain killers, drinking lots of water & eating healthily, lots of protein, fruit & veg will help it go down.
Walking & keeping active helps too.
