Had consultation with Garrick Georgeu today
Hi all! Have now had my consultation with Garrick Georgeu and it went really well, so I need to decide between him and Simon Withey but I'm edging towards Garrick because I had a better rapport with him, but also the best bit - no nipple lift / uplift needed! Cos of the type and shape of implant, either conical or anatomical so both would lift my nipples up. He uses the furry brazilians. Size would be between 225 and 275cc which all sounds about right (275 looked too big for me though). Profile would be low or moderate. I really like him, I felt at ease, felt he answered all my questions, though I'm sure I'd go back soon to ask more questions. He is my favourite so far! I just want to do a bit more research into the polyurethane 'furry brazilians' and the advantages/disadvantages compared to Nagor which Withey uses. Any info gratefully received! Xx

Glad it went well Hun. Mr Georgeu is a lovely ps, I was borderline uplift and had medium profile 300cc conical implant. These have defiantly gave me a lift and look pert but natural. The furries have low cc rate, when they are put in they cling to your tissue like Velcro. And takes a very skilled ps to do these implants. Any questions just ask Hun x x

Re: Had consultation with Garrick Georgeu today
Sounds very positive. The furries are starting to crop up more and more now, especially for borderline lift cases. They take a specialist to place them, so there are still only a few surgeons qualified to do so. In terms of comparison thet are the same generation. The 'velcro' part means they are more textured, thus lowering cc rates. The don't drop, they are stuck in place, hence a qualified surgeon to place them, and take much much longer than silicone implants to soften and fluff, up to 2yrs, so you need to be patient.
Thanks you've got some thinking to do now!

Sounds like it went really well! When I have to have mine done again (hopefully 15-20 yrs) I think I would have the furries... Love the sound of them and how they work :) xx

Re: Had consultation with Garrick Georgeu today
Thanks EmmaPinder I'm sure I'll have quite a few questions for you over the next few weeks, I really appreciate it :-). Was talking it over with my husband tonight, and think I will ask him to come with me to a follow up consultation with Georgeu soon as I want to look at / try on the different sizers again, and get his view too. And thanks Charlii I'm gonna have a look through the forum to read a bit more about the furries.
And thanks too Sarahlou and Mirren :-). Its interesting how all 3 surgeons said different things. Thanks for all your support xxx

Glad it went well, Mr Georgeu is an amazing surgeon! :)
I've had 3 consultations as I couldn't decide on sizes...
I'm 5ft2 48kg size 8, ended up having 295cc low profile and I'm super happy :)

Re: Had consultation with Garrick Georgeu today
Thanks Lunarpixie! One question - did you have to pay to go back and see him those extra times (before booking the surgery) or was it just the first time you had to pay for consultation?

Re: Had consultation with Garrick Georgeu today
Really glad it went well. He seems a very popular choice or surgeon so glad you liked him. Being comfortable with them is so important. I don't know how people book without seeing the surgeon first.
Good luck with all the extra decisions it brings xx

Thanks [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] ! Yes I'm really pleased I got to meet him and that I'd seen 2 others to compare him to. Been talking it over with my husband and I'm gonna go back to see Garrick for another consultation and bring hubby with cos he works in London so could meet me there, I feel like I need my husband's thoughts about sizes and conical vs teardrop, and to help me probe the surgeon more about possible complications and/or policy on revision surgery. If that goes well I think I've pretty much decided on Garrick - eek!! Xxx

Re: Had consultation with Garrick Georgeu today
Yes @anneritchely it really is so much to think about :-0. Thanks Emma for info about cost of additional consults with Garrick! I feel quite overwhelmed at the moment so going to take my time to think about all the questions I want / need to ask. I can't have surgery before August anyway cos of my annual leave so I've got enough time to do bit more research. Thanks for all your support ladies!! Xxx
