Have I damaged my new boobies?
I don't think the bra's I got for post op are fitting right (too big in the cup) so I took my first trip out of the house today looking like a tramp, feeling sick and walking with a hunch. Got my other half to take me to M&S to get a better fitting sports bra. I tried on a 36C and although the band felt comfortable I don't think I was getting enough support from the cup still, it's hard to tell though because at the moment I can't feel my boobs as they are numb so I'm not sure how much pressure is on them, if I'm really honest I'm not sure how tight a sports bra should be as I've never had to wear one before. So anyway, I decided to try the 34C on to see if that was any better, being a zip type it was a little difficult to do up but I got it on, however it forced my boobs together giving me a cleavage, it happened so quickly I panicked and undid the bra but I'm scared ive done damage, would the bra pulling them in like that have caused any problems, I feel like any 'settling' they've done in the last 5 days may have been ruined in 1 fowl swoop.
And to make it worse - I still don't have a bra that fits properly (I bought the 36C but I'm still not convinced it's right).
I'm dreading waking up in the morning - I just know the morning boob is gonna hit me real bad - they are stinging already. Feel like crying :-(

Re: Have I damaged my new boobies?
Don't panic/worry you can't have damaged your boobs wearing an ill fitting bra for the tiniest amount of time!
Your bra should be supportive but not overly tight that it's squashing your boobs.
Maybe take some painkillers tonight before bed & try to get a good sleep , your bra in your avi looks like it will suffice until you feel up too venturing out and maybe getting fitted for another sports/support bra.

Re: Have I damaged my new boobies?
Thanks Mirren. Was really worried but I've woken this morning actually feeling better, only had morning boob in 1 side and seem to have a little more movement than I have had so far. Maybe today will be a good day! I'm at the hospital at 10:40am for my first check up so hopefully everything is healing ok, I will ask the nurse if the support from my royce is enough while I'm there.
Thanks for taking the time to get back to me xxx

You may find that the cup is not fitting properly because your books have not yet taken a good shape . They will be high and not filling the cup properly. Is the band fitting you properly ? ️Xxx

You won't have don't any damage, don't panic! How far post are you now? The bra in your avi looks fine, but will probably be too slack once all your swelling subsides. Then I'd go out for a new bra. And you're way bigger than a C! I would try smaller back, bigger cup. Also, Anne's right, the shape of the boob may not fit snugly in a cup yet, so you might find its a bit empty in the nip or underneath. As long as it's holding the breast firmly and securely, you're ok.

Re: Have I damaged my new boobies?
Got the thumbs up on my first check-up, incisions looking good, nurse said the tape will come off its self in time and I'm good to shower after the weekend :-)
Had a little shopping time before I came home, went to john Lewis and got them to measure me for a shock absorber..... I may have been a little out yesterday buying a 36C..... I was fitted with a 32E and told to use a back extender till the swelling has gone down - lady in the store had measured a few ladies who were very early post op and was so lovely :-)
Went to h&m too and bought a few button up shirts for work (that look flippin brill with boobs).
So a good day all ina all, although I'm not very achy and ready for a nap.
OMG..... 6 days post op and I'm a 32E!!!! Hope they don't get any bigger!! :-/
