First post op appointment :)
So today I saw the nurse and Mr Borghini who works alongside my surgeon today at Harley Health Village.
Surgeon and nurse were very happy with my healing and I now have the dreaded micropore tape removed
The nurse said the incisions are very neat and I can now shower properly
I have been told to shower with waterproof dressings over the incisions for one week, then reapplying them after thoroughly drying them.
After a week I can shower normally and no more covering up the incisions :)
I'm extremely happy with the result and the seem to be dropping quite nicely.
Will update my picture trail in due course as the tape is now removed

Glad all is well, makes me even more excited reading through all your journeys! I remember when I was younger I had my ears pinned back, and had to wear a bandage for 10 days. Jeez, my hair was crazy greasy, that bath.....heaven! Lol

Shower was a success except for the steri strips having to come off :( that was slightly fiddly and uncomfortable but did it really slowly, dried the incisions with the towel and also used the cool setting on the hair dryer to make sure they were dry before placing dressings on x
