Garrick Georgeu for uplift & ba
Hello,
I'm new on here and looking for some reassurance really. I want to have implants but have been told I need an uplift too. I'm just trying to decide whether to go ahead with it or not. I'm just worried about the scarring and the final look I will achieve. If anyone can share their experiences of a breast uplift or On Mr garrick Georgeu that would be great! Thank you xx

Hi Hun and welcome, I haven't had a uplift but I had my Ba with Mr georgeu, and I'm very happy. I had conical implants cause I was borderline uplift x x

Re: Garrick Georgeu for uplift & ba
Hi and well me Hun,
There are a few ladies that have has Garrick , however have you had any other consulations? Just to make sure that you definatly need it.
If an uplift is required it WILL give you a better overall look and result you will be happy with.
As implants only will give you a bigger version of what you have now.
Back to the uplift, there are lots of ladies here that have had uplifts and the scarring really isn't bad at all.
You will achieve a better overall look with an uplift if it's required otherwise implants only could see you end up with even saggier breasts requiring an uplift very soon after. X

Re: Garrick Georgeu for uplift & ba
Thanks girls, I was hoping for just the conical implants but unfortunately he said I still needed the lift. I saw two other surgeons before Mr Georgeu and they both said I needed a lift, it was a bit of a shock as I hadn't really thought about it lol! I just thought I could get implants and that would lift them a bit. It's good to hear from someone who's has Mr Georgeu, I have been googling him and haven't found a bad review. He was so lovely in the consultation and so much more informative than the other surgeons I saw. Xx

That's great Hun, glad you had a good detailed consultation, really makes the world of diffrence.
Ok so an uplift IS needed, but please do t be put off by it, it will give you a much better result.
I'm sure some uplift ladies will be along to reassure you x

Re: Garrick Georgeu for uplift & ba
That's good you've seen some more surgeons as well. Are you having your ba at the chelmsford hospital? Also Mr georgeu is on you tube doing a ba and a uplift x x

Re: Garrick Georgeu for uplift & ba
Sorry for the late reply. Yes hun I think it will be at the Chelmsford hospital as that's where I saw him, is that where you went? I don't think I could watch him doing it as I'm too squeamish lol! I think that's why I'm so worried about the uplift, I don't think I'll be able to look at my boobs till they've healed lol!!! Xx

Re: Garrick Georgeu for uplift & ba
yes I went to the chelmsford hospital, staff and Mr georgeu were amazing. I thought when I saw my scars I'd feel funny, but it was ok. If I would of had to have a uplift I would of still done it x x

Re: Garrick Georgeu for uplift & ba
Hiya, I am 6 weeks post op for just an uplift. I would definitely recommend it if you need it, it will make the world of difference in your final look.
Re the scars, yes there are some. However i would much rather have some scars (which will fade) rather then having to get a reop in a few years. I changed my dressings after 3 weeks and i could barely see one of the vertical scars.
I posted a link to a fabulous blog of a member who had an uplift and implants in 2 ops but you vsn see her scarring through to just after her op and a year later. It will reassure uou, I promise!!

Re: Garrick Georgeu for uplift & ba
Hi Kdean! I'm also a newbie and in same position as you. I had my first consultation earlier today, thought I would just be talking about having a BA but the consultant said I would need an uplift too and that totally floored me, I wasnt' expecting that at all. I'm also worried about the scarring, and I want to try and have at least 2 more different consultations to see what others say. And would be fab to hear other girls experiences of uplifts xxx

Re: Garrick Georgeu for uplift & ba
Thanks ladies it really does help hearing other people's thoughts and experiences. Drinkeroftea I'll check the post out thank you. 9NDFp it's such a shock isn't it, Mr Georgeu uses a conical implant that can give you a lift if your borderline needing an uplift like Emma said she had and hers look amazing in her little pic, definitely see a few more surgeon xx

Re: Garrick Georgeu for uplift & ba
Hi Emma yes please it would be fab if I could see your pics please? I had never even heard of conical implants before this forum, and it sounds like it could well be a good option for me but at least I could ask at my next consultation. Wasn't even mentioned at my consult yesteday. Your avi looks beautiful.
Thank you so much

Re: Garrick Georgeu for uplift & ba
Wow Emma! Your boobies are amazing!! You must be so so pleased:-). I really want to find out more about conicals now, and maybe try to book a consult with Mr Georgeu for third opinion. Although from your before pics, I can see your nipples were higher up than mine to start with! Thanks so much for sharing! Shona xx

Re: Garrick Georgeu for uplift & ba
Thank you Emma, they look amazing! I had only seen pictures on his website of the conical implants. He offered me 260cc and low profile but i was thinking I'd want medium. To be honest I need to book to see him again to go through everything as I was a bit gutted at the time that I still needed the lift so I didn't ask much. I'm an empty c/d but want to be an E. One of the other surgeons I saw offered 310cc to fill out my breasts more at the top but that was with a round implant. Xx

Re: Garrick Georgeu for uplift & ba
Thanks Hun. He recommed low profile to me as well, but I said I wanted the pert look, so natural but fake. Also 300cc was the biggest I could safelty go, and I decided on them but medium profile. If he said I would of needed a lift I would of had it done, there's plenty of ladies on here who have had uplifts and they look amazing. I went back for a second appointment to make sure I was 100% happy x x

Re: Garrick Georgeu for uplift & ba
i think I do want medium too, I like the fake look but have been told with an uplift and implants I won't achieve it but I think medium will give me more fullness at the top that I'm after. I'll let you know how I get on with w second consultation. I'm going to be brave I think and go for it lol!! Xx

Re: Garrick Georgeu for uplift & ba
Hi girls! I've just booked a consultation with Garrick Georgeu - really excited to meet him after seeing your pics Emma! Seeing him on Sat 2nd May which is quite a while away but its so difficult for me to arrange these appointments around travelling from Brighton, childcare and work. Seeing Simon Withey the day before so that will be 3 consultations in total, should be a good range of opinions by the end of it. Thanks again for your advice :-). KDean have you booked your second consult with Georgeu or are you still thinking about it? Shona xx

Re: Garrick Georgeu for uplift & ba
Aww yay glad you've booked more :) I haven't booked my second one yet with him but I am definitely going to! I've got two children and my partner can get time off in the holidays so I'm thinking about getting the surgery done during the summer holidays so I know I've got child care sorted after the op. Plus when I last saw Mr Georgeu I was losing my baby weight and he said he wouldn't operate on me till I had maintained my goal weight for at least 3 months xxx
