Pre uplift!
Hi, I'm new here and am planning on getting an uplift in the next few months. I hope you don't mind me joining in, I'm only a 34b but am happy this size.
I used to love my breasts before having children. They're the same size they were before having my kids, but I don't like their shape anymore. I went from a b to an f cup due to pregnacy and breastfeeding . I always said that if I wan't happy with my breasts after having my children I would do something about it so here I am!
I must admit that I do feel a bit silly to be spending so much money when my boobs will look the same in clothes as they'll be the same size. I've given all options a lot of thought for a lot of time and have weight out the pros and cons and keep coming back to this option. So far I've had two consultations with two surgeons, both have recommended a lollipop uplift. They said I could get a donut one too, but that the results I want would be best acheived with the lollipop one as I prefer a conical shape.
Anyway, I'll try not to lurk to much, and post instead, you all seem very nice :)

Re: Pre uplift!
Hey Hun xx
It's only money xx if you don't spend it on this you will only spend it on something else :) xx I think we all go through this over the money but in the end most people don't regret it xx
My advice would be to see as many surgeons as you need to until you are totally happy and take your time xx it's all about the research xx don't rush into things xx

Re: Pre uplift!
hello sweet xxx
Firstly, you are not silly at all. I felt the same about the shape of my boobs after breastfeeding my 2 girls, it got me very low and really started to affect my mental health. Kay is right, you would only spend the money on something else....!
I have been a different person since my surgery, happy, confident and feeling on top of the world. Life is too short hun, if ur unhappy and can fix it, why not?? Its the best £4895 i have EVER spent hun. And the shape of my new boobs is fantastic. I had an anchor lift as thats what was recommended to me, but i would do it again in a moment. My surgeon was Mr Michael Payne with The Hospital Group, he was fab. Ur welcome to look at my pics if you want to, let me know and i can pm you the details.
Best of luck on your decision hun, remember, life is for living make the most of it.... its only money :flowers:

Re: Pre uplift!
Hi, just wanted to say welcome. If it's something you really want and will make a big difference to your life then go for it hun. As the girls say it's only money and worth spending on something that's worth while. Regardless of them looking the same in clothes hun when you get undressed and are able to feel happy then it must be worth it.
Have as many consultations as it takes until you find a surgeon you are comfortable and confident with and then go for it xx

Re: Pre uplift!
Hi Roxanne, I'm around the same size as you are and I've just had an uplift (without implants). I had to have a full anchor incision, probably 'cos I'm getting on a bit and I've fed four children over the last 25 years I'm still taped up as my op was last Thursday but I know I've got a great result and I'm sure you'll be pleased with yours too

Re: Pre uplift!
Thank you all ladies, you all seem very nice on here, and I'm glad I've joined this forum :).
I've saved some money to cover some of the op, you're right this is what it's there for, otherwise it'll all be gone on something else in very little time.
Amy, thank you for the offer, I didn't ask, cause I thought it was too soon to ask to see photos, and judging from your profile picture they look fabulous!
B4eve, I don't here of many women my size just going for the uplift, so it's nice to here you went this route as I sometimes feel alone in this respect. I bet you're super excited to see the results!
The two surgeons I've seen are well qualified, I'm in good hands with both. I think I'm leaning towards Simon Withey though, and plan on booking a second consultation as I can honestly say I trust him. I know it's best to see a few surgeons, but I got a good impression from him, and did secifically ask for him when booking my consultation.

Re: Pre uplift!
hey roxanne i also had a lift with no implants. / when i first came here i couldnt find one person doing that, i think there have been 2 or 3 now. (its kind of a relief to find other people thinking about that)
i was ok with the size and all but even with clothes it was the discomfort that got me most. i look the same size in clothes now but realy, i actually look a lot better, even though the size is the same. and of course much, much, much more comfortable. and with clothes off its -much- better. it was definitely really great for me. good luck with everything hope it goes well.

Re: Pre uplift!
Hi charms! It's a relief to hear it's worth it for you! That's where my reservations lie, I look fine with clothes and a bra on, and you won't be able to tell afterwards. I keep thinking all that money for that, and I must be crazy as my breasts aren't big anyhow. But really I've given this so much thought for a long time now, and I really do keep going back to having a lift only.
It was reassuring to ask both surgeons their opinions, both suggested the same type of lift and told me I could acheive what I wanted this way. Simon Withey and I looked at all the options, and he said for me this was the best one given my circumstances and expectations.
I've got some tops I used to wear braless pre children that I've kept that I don't wear anymore, there's no way I could pull it off now. I look forward to wearing these again!
