Should bras hurt? Empty Should bras hurt?

Hi, I've noticed when I wear a bra the underwire is hurting my ribs and leaving red marks. My boobs don't hurt wearing one though, I've tried loosening on last fastening but then it feels like I'm not get enough support. I'm wear a 30E bra, my boobs fit it lovely. X x

Your body likely isn't used to having a properly fitting bra, and it can take a while to get used to it. I get red marks, and I'm sore by the end of the day, but no more than from wearing heels all day. Where did you get fitted?

Hmm, it won't be the size then. Could be the fit/shape, in the wrong type of bra for you. But saying that there's NOTHING better than the end of the day when you take off your braaaahhhhh!

Maybe wear the deco soft cup. I get the red marks too, it's because it's fitting properly it's meant to be fairly tight, for the support.

I'm in my sports bra 80/90% of the time.!

Sounds like you've been to the very best shops so hopefully it's just getting used to the feel of a proper fitting bra as the girls say.

It's amazing how each surgeon tells you something different reg aftercare. I've been told I've got to wear the MACOM day and night for 3 months  panic Only after that am I free to wear/do what I like.

Yet most people seem to be able to start wearing bra's (no wires) from 6 weeks. The mind boggles!!

I know so confusing, yes I was told to wear wired bra after 6 weeks for a hour a day. I still wear the bra given to me after surgery though x x

From my experience it's trial & error when it comes to wired bras , some are so comfy to wear & others the wire irritates/ presses on my rib below left boob ( think the rib is wonky & sticks out bit more) leaving rib sore to touch for a while after.
When I find a style/ brand that's comfy usually buy lots of them in different colours/ patterns.
