I'm awake and all done

just to let you all know the surgery went very well. They kept me quite heavily sedated for a while but I'm now awake and... No sickness 




Very sore due to lymph node removal and capsulectomy. I also donated implants, capsules and Breast tissue for research purposes. Anybody else do this through Spire? 


Just glad it's all over now and my boobs look tiny in comparison to my old ones so I'm a happy bunny.  I can feel swelling starting to kick in though, so hoping for an not so Ouchy night. They're pretty good here though. I only have to mention a little discomfort and two minutes later I'm sorted out on pain killers. 


Oh! For those wondering why MrGod doesn't have implants availabe to feel on your consultation day - I asked him 


He said when he used to have implants there for patients to look at and feel GE found the patients focus would drift to feeling the implants rather than listening to the actual consult ion. He said implants were availabe to be felt but it's something patients should call and request but it's no trouble arranging that for them. 


He said he found no purpose for fitting implants over breasts as this gives a false image of the resulting size. He works technically measuring each woman, listening to what they want and then trying to help them achieve that with the different implants he has available to him. 


Just thought I'd pass the info on whilst I remembered it.

Great news! Yes spire were very generous with my pain relief too ha haa!

Makes sense about the implant feeling; I also did think about the fact they can't look 'that' big in compared to over the top. I think my husband is focusing on too much on what they looked like over the top when I tried mine, but I realise they wont actually look "that" big once in... xxx
