I'm a awake :)
Hiya everyone just wanted to update to say I am finally awake properly now! Had a bit of trouble with my O2 levels so strugglled to come round, was very groggy and kept drifting off!
I was first on the list :) I went to sleep at 9 and woke in recovery at 10, very cold and confused lol. I had 525cc overs which are very tight and tender too. It was the largest I could go so pleased with that although I must be honest and say my DD sports bra is baggy, so am kind of disappointed with that, thought I would wake up and magically be impressed, ho hum. There appeared to be some confusion as the surgeon flat out said I could not have 650 or 605cc implants. I know I had a wobble about sizes but I never specified a size of implant so bit confused By that. I just asked that he not go smaller than we had said ie 400-500 was what he recommended and I would be happier larger not smallere.
Took some pics pre-op last night but feel very upset about them. Very unflattering and now really hope I am happy with my new boobies as my old ones were horrific.
Well, gone on more than I meant to, sorry! I just want to say thank you all for your helpnsupport and advise, its been invaluable. Xxx

Re: I'm a awake :)
Hi hunnie, glad everything went well - it's still very early days for you to be able to judge size - although I'm a little surprised that you aren't filling a DD having had 525ccs. Maybe it's because of the band size - if you went 2 band sizes larger for example, then this might account for it. Just wait till the swelling goes down and everything settles, then you might start to have a better idea of your sizing - it really is impossible to judge on the day of the operation itself.
How are you feeling other than a bit groggy and drowsy??? Had your first cup of tea yet??
I'm really looking forward to your story when you have recovered enough to write about it.

Congrats hunnie, good that your chatting away already!!!! Don't be too concerned about your boobs at the moment, lots of healing and settling and you will notice a difference EVERY day, as Carol says don't worry about not fitting into your DD bra, I was the same straight after my op but now I'm a lovely, bubbly F cup!!!!!!
Take it easy babe, and enjoy your first cuppa, it's the best ever!!!!! xx

Re: I'm a awake :)
Well, just had the lovely nurse round, she isn't meant to say about sizes but she thinks I am an E at least but she hasn't had a proper look. She thinks my bra isn't very good which is why its a little loose under the cups.
Have had a bit to eat, had coffee and toast about lunch, one of the few occasions they could keep me awake lol! Just had an omlette for tea now. They are finally getting me some meds, but I think my bra band is squeezing which is what is uncomfortable. But would rather keep on top of the pain meds than let it start hurting when trying to sleep.
Thanks for the well wishes everyone. Its much appreciated :) xx

Re: I'm a awake :)
If you feel you can manage it, go for a walk round sometime during the evening, it certainly does help with the circulation and helps prevention of any embolisms (and it's nice to have a change of scenery, the 4 walls of the room gets a bit boring after a while.

Re: I'm a awake :)
Glad to hear you are awake and well!
Dont worry about the bra or cup sizes at the moment... I know its hard! But truly your boobies will change sooooo much over the next few weeks and I am sure with 525's you will be bigger than a d or dd. I had 540's and i wear a 32G and even pop out of some of those!
I was dissapointed by the size of mine for the first few weeks too but once they fluffed and I got them in a proper bra I feel in love with them.
Now rest up hun and enjoy! x

Congratulations hunnie, your doing really well.......
Like all the other girls, keep on the pain meds for a few days and don't be worrying over your size at the min, they are all stuck ( if we can call it that ) and once the fluffing fairy has been you will be so pleased!

Re: I'm a awake :)
Wow! I cant believe I thought I was awake when I typed that yesterday lol!
Thanks for all the well wishes, I got home about 9.30. The car journey wasnt too bad but the meds have started making me feel queasy so was glad to get home. The boobs seem to have filled out abit more, although the skin over my breast bone and inbetween my implants is lifted from the surface and pulled real taut, thats quite odd looking!
Not in too much pain, more uncomfortable. I do feel it if I try and do something with the baby though, but I cant help it as dh isnt coping too well with her.
Will take some pics when the kids have gone bed, I have only had one peek at them so far lol! Need something to keep looking at as its too cold to be taking my top off!
Thanks again for your comments xx

Re: I'm a awake :)
Yes, tempting though it may be - especially if you feel that you're OK,, you do need to take it easy, and then slowly start easing your way back to normal existence after the first week - otherwise you could seriously delay your healing.
Take care hun
