Trying to describe the feeling Empty Trying to describe the feeling

Post by anneritchley 19th February 2015, 3:38 pm

hi girls. My right boob has been causing me discomfort and all I can describe it as is, there is something pulling inside. If feels like someone has a peice of cotton and is pulling it. Very odd but that's the only way I can describe it. Any ideas on what they may be ? It down the right hand side of my boob xxxx:huh:

Have you rang your surgeon at all, and asked them what it could be?
Has it been like it from the start? I wonder if the implant is laying on a nerve or tendon? That is a complete guess btw!! xx

Could just be nerves healing inside , this can cause all sorts of feelings & sometimes pain / discomfort.
For a good while after my BA I had a feeling like there was a small bubble that was about to pop behind nipple that caused pain, then one day it just disappeared , felt really strange though.
When you have your next check up with surgeon do mention it or sooner if you are overly concerned.
Hopefully it will pass sometime soon. Hug XXX

That was the exact same feeling i had on my right side when it was hurting!  I massaged that spot for a few days, and it definitely relieved it...I put it down to a trapped nerve or something like that...as though I had to free something up if that makes sense?  x

Is it a pulling feeling only when you stretch? If so, could it just be the pocket and surrounding tissue taking it's time to stretch? My right always felt tighter and pulling when I strecthed arms up but its gone now!

Aw that's sounds annoying. I'm sure it's fine and just healing, especially if they are softenjng nicely. But if you are concerned I would make an appt to see surgeon, even if just for reassurance. Or perhaps wait another month and if no improvement make an appt. I would day at 4 months all my niggles disappeared.

As Mamamia has said earlier if you're concerned no point in worrying when you can give surgeon a call and get checked out, even just for reassurance that everything is ok, that's what your aftercare is for. XXX

Mine was there all the time too....I found myself cupping the boob constantly as the added bit of pressure would somehow relieve it slightly x

All sounds normal to me. But as has been said, if you're ever overly concerned do use the aftercare you've paid for and seek advise from your surgeon gorgeous. Xx
