glue !!!
I'm getting really sore from the bits of glue that are coming off and I keep catching other bits on my bra. Tonight I washed off two big clumps in the shower but now I'm a bit worried as its left me with what looks like open sore bits. Sorry for the rant just wish it would hurry up and come off x

Mine have still got glue on them, the nurse said just to leave it and it will eventually come off. X x

Re: glue !!!
The glue takes a while from what I hear. As long as the skin underneath looks pink and healthy, you're ok. If it's angry or tearing, go see the nurse.

Re: glue !!!
I should imagine it would be VERY tempting to pick at the glue as it starts peeling away from the skin but it really is best left well alone to come away in its own good time.
If you're at all concerned about your wounds then it's best to just give your clinic a call and have them checked over. It only takes a minute but can offer a whole lot of reassurance rather than having you sat worrying about them. Xx

Re: glue !!!
Your boobs or your incisions? Incisions I'd leave well alone still, but your boobs you can moisturise with anything, as long as you steer clear of the incisions. Nivea, Vaseline, anything you fancy.

Re: glue !!!
Thanks charlii my skin is quite fussy so I use Avon moisturisers as they don't bring me out in any sort of rash so I'll start with that and see how I go xx

Re: glue !!!
At this point as your swelling is going down you might find you get a lot of dead skin all around your bra, so if you can get someone to to go all round you back and sides for you too
