Good advice mirren. I will try and ignore them, but not easy. Showed my mum and sister yesterday and they agreed there was a difference. Interestingly the one that has given me the most pain is the smaller one and larger one is now giving me pain and it hasn't previously. I really really hope that it is still swelling in my right x

Hi, I had BA to correct asymmetry and one boob looks nice and settled and another one still high up but its still early post op thou.
I think you need to be patient hun and it eventually settles in if that makes sense - anyway this is what I am still hoping/waiting for:)

It's not silly. It's an emotional thing. I can't even look at mine and my incisions are so painful. To scared to look at them. Hugs to you honey. Xxx

Oww bless you, sending hugs your way.
I know it's hard but try not to check your boobs all the time if that makes sense as it's only winding you up - I felt exactly the same hun.
As girls are saying it can take months before they will settle.
I am over 2 months post op and they still havent settled.

I have to say your Avi looks very nice in my opinion and I only by very close look I could notice what you mean hun.

How big implants did you have?

I'm feeling down too hun. My right has swollen more all over. Still has a slight seroma too. My left has a hole in it. And I'm still so sore can't can't do bugger all! Got so much to do as moving house in 9 days and I can't lift a finger. Have had to sort out kids new schools and other stuff in the last month. My hubby-to-be is working 24/7. I can't drive as I had a seizure after surgery so now on a driving ban for 6 months. Had an mri scan yesterday and that made my boobs more painful lying flat for all that time with the vibrations and I need to repair before our wedding honeymoon in 7 weeks. Feel like I can't cope at the moment. I live in hope that on Friday when I have my dressing changed there is some good news. If there isn't I will probably break down in front of the nurse xxx

I had one bigger than the other. The surgeon put a bigger implant in on the right but that is smaller and higher than the left. I'm just trying to ignore the size and wait til 6 months to see what happens xx

It's amazing actually how many of us seem to be experiencing the same problems. It's hard not to scrutinise them isn't it. i will be interested to hear what my surgeon says tomorrow. Will keep u posted x

Hi girls,

Is this  a fairly  common problem? Or is it  because you  are  still quite new post op and will be scrutinising them  a lot more?

It's common if you have any asymmetry pre-op (a lot of women do).

I think we'd all be surprised by the normal of ladies who have naturally big boobs with asymmetry. It doesn't help us when we consider we've spent 6k trying to correct them, but personally it helped me accept it, and love my boobs. I googled page 3 girls and flicked through the images and when scrutinising them I could even see assymettry in their boobs that I would never have noticed usually. It's so important to discuss pre and post op x

Thanks girls, makes sense. And I guess the more you are looking at something, and taking photos etc, the more you are going to notice any differences.

So true drinkeroftea. My assymettry is magnified 10 fold when I take a photo....hence why I don't take photos anymore!!! In fact when I explained my assymettry to my surgeon he downplayed it, and then he took photos of my scars and when looking at the back of the camera commented that it was a lot more obvious on camera!

So saw the surgeon and predictably been told still swollen, could change etc. To me they are wonky and still too big. All in all am gutted. It's hard to be positive when I know I can't get anything like the result I wanted. X

It is a waiting game until all swelling has gone & you're fully healed etc
Has your surgeon noted your concerns & seeing you again to check on how they are doing?
I found it helped me by ignoring them for a while whilst settling & they did change for the better eventually.
Try not to over scrutinise them for a bit & let them do their own thing.   Hug XXX
