Right boob bigger and higher up?
Hi everyone I'm 10 days post op andy right boob is bigger higher and a different shape to the left one. I went to my one week appointment on Wednesday and the nurse told me not to worry it was just swelling and would sort itself out but I can't stop worrying because the right is the one I had the bigger implant in and I don't want to end up with one boob bigger than the other and a different shape. I can't help but think im going to be the one that goes wrong. Anyone else had the same sort of thing? Did it sort itself out? Please help I'm stressing over this soooo much.

Re: Right boob bigger and higher up?
Hi hun
Firstly a big congratulations on your BA!!!
Try not to stress, I know its easier said than done but your boobies need time to settle, they will change shape a lot over the next few months. I also heard that if you are right handed the right boob will take longer to drop and fluff because the muscle is stronger and will hold onto the implant longer so they will look a little different for some time (same applies to left).
Try not to worry sweetie and give your boobies some more time to recover and take the final shape xx

Re: Right boob bigger and higher up?
Hi hunni
I'm not feeling too bad - my breasts feel fine, a bit sore where the drains were. My belly feels more sore than anything though. Overall the pain is less than I expected :-)
I think the hardest thing for me is relaxing I hate sitting still but I guess I have to for a few days - dont wanna end back in hospital.
How did your BA go? All well? x

Re: Right boob bigger and higher up?
Hi Hun,
Glad your feelin ok. Yeah mine went fine to and I didn't think the pain was too bad either but what I wasn't prepared for was the complete lack of the use of my arms! I hated sitting around too but like u said it's not worth ending up back in hospital.
I started feeling much better around day 5 and started to do a bit housework then and have got a bit better everyday since. Still letting my Hubby do a bit to though as I dont want to damage my new boobies! The hardest thing for me has been not being able to lift my 10 and half month old baby properly I wasn't prepared for that :( xx

Re: Right boob bigger and higher up?
Hi girls,
Quick update 2 weeks today since I had my BA and my right boob definitely still alot higher up about an inch. It's also a different shape and very sore especially to touch. Rang my clinic today to see what I was suppose to do regarding breast band as today should be my last day of wearing it but with the right one being so high up I wasn't sure. My PS on holiday so spoke to the nurse and she said sounds like the right is still very swollen and if u could put up with it to wear the breast band another week. Another week with that on is going to drive mad but I'll do anything to make it drop. Any tips? Xx

Re: Right boob bigger and higher up?
Hi Hun, im going through the same thing so your definitely not alone. Im nearly 7 weeks post-op and my left boob is rounder, bigger and sticks out more than the left one. The nipple is also higher. My right boob feels soft but the left one feels harder and seems more compact and tight. I think this is a common ocurrence after a ba and hopefully we'll all even out soon.xx

Re: Right boob bigger and higher up?
It is totally normal. Especially this early. Try not to worry. It can unfortunately take months for them to drop fully. So you might have odd boobs for 3 to 6 months. It sounds like one is probably more swollen than the other at the moment which is why it feels more sore. Think of it as two seperate ops done at the same time which is why they van heal differently. Plus your smaller boob had the bigger implant so has more stretching to do and maybe a bit more difficult to squash in during the op. See how it goes hun, but try not to worry if they still look odd when the swelling for a down
Re: Right boob bigger and higher up?
Ooooh I do hope your both right just hope they even out sooner rather than later.
Evee your pic looks great you can't tell from that that one is higher than the other.

Re: Right boob bigger and higher up?
I am exactly the same as you lauren,I had 400 cc in my right and 375cc in my left, and my right breast is huge compared to my left, much higher up and rounder and the implant starts lower down too, so seriously bigger. I don't get it, if i dropped it would be well lower than my left, wtf is going on... :( x

Re: Right boob bigger and higher up?
Good Luck hun, Im sure it'll be fine as it can take a while. After 3 weeks mine are levelling out but only slightly. I might find that in another 3 weeks it still hasn't dropped x

Hi barbiecon,
Are you allowed to wear normal bras? Only until mine drops I'm not and I've got to keep my breast strap on. Don't think I could cope with that for 18 months! Arghhhh

I'm completely the opposite...30 days PO today...400CC's unders, and I'm right handed, yet my left boob is sitting way higher than the right...everyone is truly different when it comes to healing :)

Re: Right boob bigger and higher up?
I went for my stitches out today and my surgeon assured me that they will even out in time.. anytime from now to 18 months!! wowzers.
Itold him I was going to a big party tomorrow night, he told me that because i had areola incision and because my breasts are healing so well that i can wear a proper bra to the party, but go back to support bras afterwards.. yay, so excited. Rushed to la senza and got measured 32 E .. cheers :) x

Re: Right boob bigger and higher up?
LHB, I'm so surprised by your stats. I was a 34 C pre-op, got 400CC saline in the right and 370 in the left. I'm three weeks post-op and fitting as a 34 D. I'm super disappointed they aren't bigger : (

Re: Right boob bigger and higher up?
Were you an empty 34C though? if you were then the implant would of mostly filled out the skin you had!! Also i am a smaller back then you, i should be wearing a 28 back.. but they are hard to find so wear 30 or 32 :) x
