Re: Would you mind sharing how you paid for your boobs
Same here Blush lol. Always savings.
The first boobs, cost me 4 1/2K I paid for them out of 'my' savings
The additional 4 1/2K Transform got off me for revision just before my 3 year aftercare was up when I had a rupture and was within aftercare was funds loaned out of my sons Uni money we had put aside for him. We had to save hard to put that back for him. (Always read your small print/terms and conditions) well, my husband payed that back I should say.
We've been saving since in my Booby fund over the past 4 years and had 4K ready just incase the same were to happen to me again. Well... It happened again. Different complication. I have CC and a seroma and will be going through Spire this time costing me £5250, im still saving the last bit toward my surgery but I'll have that before the dead line.
In 7 years my boobs have cost me £14,250. For what I was told would be a boob job for life! . I don't think I could saved so hard for anything else lol.

Credit card for me. That was actually the push to go for it. I've been smart with it though, only kept the debt on it as long as the 0%, then tarted on a 0% balance transfer. I'll finally have paid it off next month!
I will keep putting those savings away each month additionally, in case of an emergency, or just for the next one.

Hey!
My partner paid for them £3974 plus £100 consultation fee. But I am going to pay half back to him and doing this by transferring money to his account each month.
He did say that this could be my push present, nearly 2 years after I actually pushed though!!

Well, I didn't know what this was till afterwards and was asked by many women what did I get as a push present...
It's a present for bearing and giving birth to your partners child!
So, I took that idea and ran with it!!!

Re: Would you mind sharing how you paid for your boobs
He's just said for the way I treated him during labour 'i' owe HIM a push present.
But because he's such a kind, caring husband he'll honour this push present by buying me a sportsbra and bag of pick-n mix for when I have my Breast Augmentation. One prezzie for each child.
Who said romance was dead hey

I paid for mine half savings and half on a 0% purchase credit card. Paying it off as quickly as I can. It's amazing once you have your mind set on something how driven you can be and save/pay off money quickly.

Re: Would you mind sharing how you paid for your boobs
I knew about the push present but I'm still owed 2!!! Although when I found out I was having a boy (which I knew my husband was secretly happy about) I bought myself a mulberry handbag. Then I bought another when I fell pregnant again and I received a work bonus as I didn't expect to go back to work afterwards so I figured it was a well done me/you'll never have money again present! So I guess all is forgiven!
I planned to save for my BA but I was really lucky as received an unexpected windfall from work which covered it so managed to book up much earlier than expected. Saving now though for the next one! I'd wanted a boob job for 15+ years but I'd always thought it was out of reach financially with other 'more important' things to spend my money on and hard to justify. Glad I did though!

Re: Would you mind sharing how you paid for your boobs
I'm planning to pay mine in full, I was a beauty therapist before I started my chemistry degree, so I commuted to uni full time for 4 years, while working self employed about 30 hours a week.. So I finished uni in the summer and had money!!! - I put a chunk into investments for our deposit for a house, but my boy friend is trying to catch up... So in the mean time boobies here we come! - far too sensible student!!
I've been looking into 0% credit cards this morning because I know some come with good rewards! So I thought if I can get tesco points etc, surely that's a bonus??
They 'assume' your only going to get a credit limit of £1200 and I thought for 1/4 of the surgery price, is it worth it?
Is there a chance the limit will be higher?? I think I'd want at least half :S xx

Re: Would you mind sharing how you paid for your boobs
I got a m&s credit card, thinking that I'd like to spend the vouchers on new bras and clothes for the kids. I have a credit limit of £4000 but know everyone is different. I actually put the whole £4500 on the card, but I paid off the amount I have saved. (£500 was a deposit, so paid that off straight away, then put the other £4000 on it at deadline date, then paid off the rest of money I had saved)

Re: Would you mind sharing how you paid for your boobs
Thank you for sharing! Do you think £1200 would be the minimum they would offer then? £4000 seems like a more responsible limit :) xx

If you go to money supermarket or money saving expert websites they have a tool that works out cards & credit limits based on some questions they ask you about your current credit etc.
