Strap removed
Went to see the nurse for first post op check today. She said I can remove the strap as the implants have dropped enough. I was told when had surgery it would be on for 6 weeks. Is this right after only 10 days

Re: Strap removed
It's right 'for you' babe given that your post-op instruction has changed.
Change through recovery you can and does hapoen depending on your healing.
You must be doing very well and healing fast. Xx

The nurse said I am healing well and to massage them with E45 cream daily

Re: Strap removed
Yay! You must be relieved :)
Don't put e45 on your incisions!!!! (I take it they're still under wraps anyway) but just in case! - It could cause an infection while they are still healing.. There was another post about it not too long ago.. If you want to read it I think it was called infection and annoyed.. Or something like that! X

Re: Strap removed
Hmm...was it just the nurse you saw? I would be cautious, if your surgeon told you 6wks, he's the one that knows best. I would perhaps try and get hold of your surgeon and confirm, because these commercial clinics will find any excuse to take away your aftercare. Don't let them because of bad advise from some nurse.

Re: Strap removed
The nurse has binned my strap lucky I bought another. If the implants start to ride up I will put it on. I'm not using E45 cream

When I go to the next appointment the nurse will have an appointment for me with him as he is leaving but will be coming back to see his post op patients

Re: Strap removed
Hi Langers. I've got my nurse appointment tomorrow. I didn't know Mr Singh was leaving?! So we don't get to see him now at all?
That's good that you don't have to wear the strap - as long as correct advice was given. I'm a bit nervous now!

Re: Strap removed
For a minute there, I thought you would not see your surgeon again. I take it you can email him to ask him about the strap. Just to double check. Xx

Make sure you ask your surgeon if it's ok to remove it for good. Glad you healing well. Xxx

Re: Strap removed
If Mr Singh is leaving I doubt VERY much he'll be popping back to see patients. Once he's gone....he's gone. Anyone who had surgery with Mr Singh will be allocated another surgeon of Transforms choice.
Been there, done that and got the T-shirt ladies - a few times with Transform.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] your implants won't ride up just because your strap has been removed. If they've dropped... They've dropped. If implants ride up your chest, this is a sign of CC, not the lack of pressure on implants sweetie. X

Re: Strap removed
Thanks so much Cookie for that. I've been so worried I will wake up and my boobs will be under my chin. You have experienced surgeons leaving have you. Likely I will just see someone else then by the sounds of it. Xxxx

Re: Strap removed
Hiya Langers. Nurse said because surgeon instructed me to wear strap for 6-8 weeks then to still carry on wearing it. She said it will just promote the healing and shape etc.
No mention of Mr singh leaving either!

I see the nurse in 4 weeks time, then surgeon at the next one. Either she didn't know or didn't want to say.
