Re: March Buddies
There you go!
The post where I live is so rubbish, the clinic told me they posted me a letter 1st class last Monday.. Haven't had any mail since. I live in a block of flats and apparently the postman doesn't always remember the bring the keys to get in.. It's a joke!
Mum sent me a birthday card in December, on the Monday, first class. My birthday was the Thursday. I got it the following monday.. Rant over lol xx

Sarahlou my credit card came yesterday and it's now all set up :) also got my v pillow (tested pillow last night and I must say very comfy) and arnica through in the post. I'm pretty much set to go now still a wait to go but I'm more happy knowing I'm fully prepared for the big day lol x I'm waiting on a delivery for two new shock absorber bras and after that I'm good to go lol x I've bought other sports bras high impact ones but on the day will take a few just incase I feel uncomfortable in one can change to another one x

Re: March Buddies
Yay! It's all coming together :) I was worried about buying too many bras and none of them fitting... although I couldn't help myself and have 6!! ooops!
I love my V pillow too, I sleep with it... ha!
I'm still waiting on the letter from the hospital, was sent 1st class 10 days ago.. don't think I've had any mail at all. Actually called Royal Mail yesterday and complained about it.
My info for the card is in the post.. then I have to agree before the card gets sent out.. so I do hope they hurry up, and royal mail actually deliver.
How long did your take from applying online to actually receiving the card? x

Re: March Buddies
Everyone looks so different I've stopped looking at pictures too much. Once minute it's too small, one minute its too big and the next its perfect lol.. I trust the surgeon 100%! Before I went to a consultation I thought I would probably have 300-325 so to be told I can have 345 it's like
I've started watching operations on YouTube!! - It's amazing, can't keep my eyes off the screen.
Are you going to get some Hibiscrub? Cookie says it's great for cutting the risk of infection, wash in it the night before and morning of! - I'll be using it for a week then lol :) xx

Re: March Buddies
Heyyy, How are you?
Do you know how long you have been told to avoid a shower?
I've just realised that it's Mother's Day 12 days after my op, and I live 140 miles from my mum. It's only 2 roads, I under if I would be able to drive it

Yh I'm good thank you?! Can't believe you have 19 days til your op bet your so excited x I'm jealous :( I thought it was a few weeks I suppose you go to post op app depends how they are healing if they are ok they prob advise to have a quick shower if not it will be strip washes until directed to. My paperwork says keep wounds dry for 5 days then shower afterwards no soaps etc and no baths x

Re: March Buddies
I live by myself - and I was the one who moved away so I don't even know a huge amount of people here yet.
I don't think my boy friend would appreciate coming to get me and drive me home lol.
She could come up but she's coming at the end of Feb, and it means my sister and nan having to come up too! lol just more problems created! X
