Yh I've paid half then got a 0% credit card which can pay bk for 16 months no charges which I can easily do. I'm very careful with money and once it's all paid off won't use it anymore

Re: March Buddies
I've done a bit of research today and I think going to get a 0% credit card too!
I'd like to get a mortgage and because I've never owed any money, my score is quite low and I think this may help to improve it. Thank you so much for sharing :)
Have you started buying lost surgery bras. Pillow etc? X

I've got a good credit rating because I already own a Barclays platinum credit card which I use to buy petrol and pay it straight back when the bill comes x does come in handy when you want to apply for credit. Shows u can borrow money and pay it back every month. Yes I've bought some bras and extenders so far and need to buy a v pillow x

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] check out that ticker.. how fab is that!!
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] my dad warned me about having to owe money to have a good credit rating, but obviously to pay it back on time. So I did get a credit card when I was 18 but only used it on Holidays etc.. I use to be self employed so I always use to pay for everything in cash.. which has stung me in the foot a bit now. However, I started renting a flat in September so now I have bills, rent etc in my name. I got a bed on finance (0%) for 2 years (because again dad warned me this would help my credit rating) I pay the credit card off at the end of each month by direct debit and have set the bed up the same way.
I can't believe if you never 'borrow' money your credit rating is so low - for being good.. ha! I even had to pay £200 more deposit because of it!! xx

Re: March Buddies
I know it's rubbish!! Exactly why I started boring money to build up my credit rating which has finally paid off as I've been accepted for a new credit card with £2000 limit. I've always borrowed and paid back full amount and never do minimum payments. I've had finance for cars, credit card for petrol. Finance when I had laser eye surgery and obvs have direct debits for rent and bills etc. it has helped in the long run as long as you are strict which I have always been. I only spend what I can afford lol x

Re: March Buddies
Exactly... only spend what you can afford, I think thats key :)
What annoys me about the 0% interest accounts is that I cant find out how much credit limit they will offer me until I apply! - So I suppose if it helps the credit rating then even £1000 is better than nothing - I think I'm going to go M&S, they have a £30 voucher with money saving expert at the moment, need to apply before Feb 28th and need to use it before March 30th... will be perfect :)
My graduate job has given me car, phone, laptop so I don't even have phone contract, fuel etc... nice to not worry about MOT, service etc though!
I got my V pillow from Ebay, I found a John Lewis one that had never been used still in packet for £4 :) xx

I've just written about that in my boob job diary! - I asked if I was allowed and although the nurse doesn't believe in alternative therapies she said it would cause no problem and to go ahead if I wanted to, 5 days before and 5 days after :)
Wow that is a bargain.. well done :) xx
