Hi, I put my shock absorber on tonight that I bought at 5 weeks PO and now I'm 8 weeks PO. When I wore it, the bra was very tight round the band, it's not no more. It took 5 to 6 weeks for my swelling to go down round my under bust. There was me thinking it only took 2 to 3 weeks. I thought these sports bras come up small but that is not the case. What a fantastic bra. I can finally get all the support I need and be comfortable. Oh I just love my boobies and it seems like they are really settling. Still a long way to go with regards to changing fluffing but they seem to be the size that they will end up. Of course I won't be disappointed if they go up a size but I can't see that happening . Sorry to go on. yahoo

Arrrr it's nice to hear that you love your boobs, and you've got every right to go on about them Hun, I know I would if I'm over the moon with my end result! dance I hope I'm as happy when I have my ba done. (I can't wait) I too thought it only took a few weeks for the swelling to go, so that's a good bit of info to hear it can take longer, and that's normal. Can I ask where you got your shock absorber bra from? I've read a lot if girls talking about these, but when I looked them up, there were a few different types and weren't sure which ones were ok to use after a ba xx

I got my shock absorber from house of Fraser. But what may be right for me , may not be comfy for you. But they are good sports bras. You would have to ask your surgeon if it's ok. Some surgeons like you to wear nothing ,others like you to have support. Every surgeon is different. It's a high impact shock absorber that I have with back fastner. Although sometimes a back fastener fir me directly after PO was not right. Xx
