Wrong size Post Op bra
I have been wearing a proper post-op surgery bra for a week and have just changed it for a sports bra and there is so much difference in support. The sports bra is loads better. I was at the very bottom measurement for the PO bra and I think maybe I should have gone for XS and not S.
Comparatively, the band around the PO surgery bra didn't feel tight enough and there was certainly no pressure on my boobs to keep them still, they were slightly bouncing when I went for a walk. Now I am worried that I have through the 1st week giving them hardly any support at all!

I wouldn't worry about it too much, what's done is done. It's so difficult in that first week making sure your in the right size. I was in 36c's! As long as you feel secure in the sports bra now, it'll be fine.

Re: Wrong size Post Op bra
I know, I just feel such a donkey head for spending all that money, as well as time and effort making sure I was fully prepared only to go and get the wrong size bra - honestly I could slap myself if I wasn't trying not to use my arms! I am just hoping it was loose now due to swelling going down.

I'm on my 3rd one in 3 weeks due to wrong sizes. Its so hard to gauge pre op so honestly don't fret too much. I have no doubt you'll have another one in a few weeks time too as swelling goes etc. It seems such a waste of money for bras to see you through just a matter of weeks, but wearing avbra that supports you makes a massive difference to your comfort :) x

Awww you're not at all alone hun. Many of us have done this and it's a fantastic feeling once you realise the good that the right support can do.
I really wouldn't worry about before. They're fine now and that's all that matters. Xx
