Wow you really are strapped up Emma! No wonder you can't see them. Did the doc not tell you to change your bra every day? He did for me, to prevent infection so thats the time i get to see the wonky sisters. Not worth it really! Haha.
I am off the heavy drugs today, just on standard paracetamol. Like you LairyFairie I am less dizzy/spaced now. That stuff is hardcore, no wonder people get hooked!x

Re: Is anyone else feeling sicky?
Emma- wowzers they aint leaving anything to chance! I think its a good thing you are so strapped up-. Considering how much I paid for my BA, I am a little miffed they didn't include a surgery bra. Instead I had to buy a selection - guessing the sizes- and the surgeon picked the most suitable one on the day. Being so strapped it will stop you analysing and obsessing over them like I am doing at the moment
Its best to keep dosed up in 1st week, even if you don't feel in pain - as the meds build in your system and work better. Hopefully you will be fine on Wed when you are med free
Firecracker - glad to hear you are feeling a lot better. Have you managed to get out of the house yet? A little walk does wonders for the cabin fever.
Nothing prepares you for how different your boobs are to each other hey? I really wanted to do a pic trail but I am too embarrassed about how odd-sized they look so I am going to leave it for a few months until I am more comfortable with it.

Re: Is anyone else feeling sicky?
Hi ladies,
Glad to hear your all doing well, it's so reassuring to read how your all feeling, so I'll know what to expect in a couple of weeks...
Blimey Emma that is some bra they've given you girl, is it comfy? That's fab they included that with your surgery, and that's not a cheap bra either, so must be worth it Hun. X

Yes it's very comfy, not rubbing underneath, binder ok. The only thing annoying is the big full chest strap x x

Will you be seeing your surgeon in A couple of days? Is that when you'll be free of the chest strap? X

Rebecca
my other half is completely the same- he keeps trying to peek down my top hoping to see something but nothing but a sports bra and compression band. I wont let him near them and I am the same with mine as you, scared to leave them without the bran and band when having a shower, scared to put too much pressure on when washing them, scared to have a proper feel of them . Ha I am sure once the nurse changes the tape at 3 weeks I will be confident they wont fall off or get infected if I touch them!!
I had they same antibiotics as you by the way. 4 a day on empty stomach for a week

Re: Is anyone else feeling sicky?
I'm so glad I found this forum!! I'm 2 days post op and feel so rough from the painkillers.. Not hungry feeling sick and spaced out.. I'm now dreading the next couple of days though as you have all said day 3 and 4 are bad.. Eeekkk
My bras feel so tight round the bottom I bought all 34 backs as that is what I am but I'm so swollen everywhere :(( are ice packs a good thing to try?!
It's weird because yesterday.. Day after op I didn't feel so bad and was moving around quiet abit and today it's just gotten worse.. And advice or other people in pain also would be great to hear :)) I feel normal knowing others are feeling similar..
I'm super happy with my new boobs though!! Their looking great already just really hard.. Can't wait for them to soften..

Re: Is anyone else feeling sicky?
Hi, the first 2 days I found ok as the GA is still in your system and all the pain meds they put in you. With me it was more uncomfortable than pain. Day 3 and 4 the swelling kicks in. Just keep on top of your pain meds and don't wait to be in pain before taking them. Get plenty if rest. Drink lots of water and eat healthy. I was bloated for about 2 weeks after. That will all go too. You have just had surgery so take it easy. Xxx

Re: Is anyone else feeling sicky?
Hi Claire,
Congrats on the new boobs, the first week is the worst, at around. Week is where most ladies notice a change and turn around. As you can see by being quite active the day after you're feeling it today!
Just take it easy , by all means get up and walk round the house /garden for a short walk to help recovery and try and straighten up , walking hunched makes your back ache as well as your boobs.
Drink lots of water the help flush the ga and meds out.
Ice packs are great. If you havnt got ice packs frozen peas are just as good. Just place them on top of your boobs , NOT the underneath and OVER the bra, it
L help swelling and provide some instant relief.
If the bras are tight use bra extenders, they're cheap and are great for whilst your quite swollen.
Congrats again and glad you're happy with your boobs they only get better!

Thanks for your advise ladies!! Definately keeping up with the pain killers.. And such a good idea on the bra extenders!!!!! I didn't even know they existed so my sister has been sent to M&S to get some.. Even calling the store they were so helpful!! I think I over did it yday the GA was still in my system I'm guessing xxx

Re: Is anyone else feeling sicky?
The one thing that stood out for me with regards to pain was my back. You find your self stooped over, well I did anyway. I think it was a way of protecting my boobs. My back was aching like mad. When I gave myself a good talking too to stand up strait my back felt better. Xx
