Pre-op shower...
...Do we have to wash our hair at the hospital too, or just our body? Totally random q that just popped in my head! x

Re: Pre-op shower...
I didn't shower at the hospital as I'd had one in the hotel room that morning (luckily, as they were late getting me in the room, so no time to!). You have to be clean of any product, so maybe wash your hair the night before and just tell them you've done it.

I'm going to have a long bath the night before, as I won't be able to have a shower or bath for a week x x

Re: Pre-op shower...
I showered in Hibiscrub he night before surgery and on the morning of. It's an anti-septic wash used in hospitals to prepare the skin for surgery and lessen the risk of infection. You can buy it in Boots if you wanted to use this.
Not everyone does use Hibiscrub, but my brother in laws a theatre nurse and advised this for me so I just pass it on to any ladies who might want the info also...or not. Feel free to ignore me lol

I just showered and washed my hair in the morning before I went to the hospital. Wish I'd known about the hibiscrub, that's a great idea. But thankfully I'm infection free!
