God I really want a shower
I know I'm going on now but I really want a shower... dressing came off yesterday and nurse said no shower for two days so I was like "oh Thursday" and she said no - two FULL days, which is Friday... I'm 11 days and my scars are looking good. I so badly want all the orange stuff and pen off me so I can feel clean.
Thinking of sneaking a shower tomorrow... is that naughty?

Re: God I really want a shower
I really miss it. I don't get loads of chances but make sure I have a long soak once a week with some expensive bubbles and candles... Oh I miss it :(

Re: God I really want a shower
2 weeks is nothing babe! Due to me having an allergy to the stitches I couldn't shower for 9 weeks!!!!! I felt like my skin was crawling!! Lol I don't even have a bath I could sit in, so I just had to hand shower the bottom half and have a wash in the sink for the top!!! Lol
So you won't smell as bad as I did yet
Enjoy your shower lovely, Friday will be sheer bliss

Yup. I felt mingin babe. I'd obviously cleaned every day but never felt properly clean like you do after a good long, hot shower. X
Re: God I really want a shower
Trust me you'll appreciate every droplet of water in THAT shower!!!

Re: God I really want a shower
Different surgeons do often have their own opinions on what is best for their patients. Some use glue, some waterproof dressings and some nothing at all. As long as you're healing well though that's all that matters isn't it. Xx

Think yourself lucky you don't have to wait another 2 weeks until one, like me!!! That will be 3 WHOLE WEEKS without a proper shower. Stinky

Re: God I really want a shower
It will all be worth it im sure but remind me this when im moaning about the same thing later in the month lol. How did you all manage with washing hair? Mines really really thick so hard to wash over the bath etc as you cant get the shampoo out.

Re: God I really want a shower
I found a cheap local salon that did it for me for £15... I stretched it out as long as possible and only needed them to do it 3 times (dry shampoo is your friend!) xx
