Hi all, has anyone found that there macom lost the support after about 3 weeks? And did anyone find that they irritate your skin if it is sensitive ? As in the fabric is uncomfortable

I have no idea just yet, but my immediate thought is perhaps it's because your swelling has gone down, and bra is stretched to bigger size?  Am probably totally wrong though! x

No you could be right. But my boobs started hurting a lot in the last week. I'm putting it down to lack of support. Xxx

Some women just don't get along with the Macom (I didn't like it at all) just in the same way other women don't get along with other bras.

I think because we're all made differently what one woman LOVES another cant stand.

I do agree with Boobies2be though. Sounds like it fit just fine whilst the swelling was there, now the swelling has reduced you're now left with a bra that's too big for you.

It would probably be wise to get yourself another bra now, one that fits and supports. Your boobs will feel much better then xx

Hi Anne! For the first 3 weeks I swore by my post op bras that my surgeon supplied. Almost overnight they stopped fitting And supporting properly.
Cookie advised me to get meassured and get a different bra. I got the shock absorber max. What a difference! What a bra lol
I liked it so much I got another the next day :) its amazing and my boobs have never felt better. They are so supported they feel like a part of me, if that makes sense? X x x

Ooh which shock absorber bra is that??  I already know the macom I've bought is only going to last whilst I'm swollen as band isn't snug pre op, so will be looking for a new bra in a few weeks! x

You can get them other places. I got mine from bravissimo so they fitted me, and I liked it so much I ordered anther from very the next day for the same price.
Its like my boobs are in heaven lol
I don't think they could have handled this amount of support any earlier tho (I got it at 3 1/2weeks post op) as it is very snug.it made my boobs ache for a couple of days x

I found this too it's quite thin and allowed for the initial swelling but then lost its support. I like the high impact zip up one from Marks and Spencer.  I have a black one in a 34dd thst never lost its support with washes. I am not in a purple one size 34e and my surgeon complimented me in what a good bra it was for support.

Agree, its likely the swelling now has gone and its not as tight as before. Plus like others have said, some girls just plain don't like it. I never wore one during post op, but I sleep in one now.

If you can get to a bravissimo, they'd be the best this early post op, they deal with a lot of BAs. If M&S, go in knowing your band size, and if you can stand it (maybe enlist a friend to help) just try on loads and see whats best. Just don't settle because that's the only size they had, online will always have more.
