Support bra
By wearing the support bra is this a means of keeping our new additions as still as possible until they settle? After my shower earlier I experimented a little to see if they were still rock hard and to my surprise found they moved really easily by pushing them together! Only 2 weeks post op and am now worried that I shouldn't have moved them. One of the reasons I'm still nervous about sleeping on my side as I feel they would be sitting in the wrong place?! I really need to research this more as I feel like I'm asking ridiculous questions about recovery!! X

Re: Support bra
Don't worry about the movement hun. Its just your boobs softening up that is allowing for this movement.
The support bras are to maintain stability whilst you're healing and this is why you'll only remove your bra over the specified time your surgeon requires it when you have a shower. This gives your new boobs the best chance for the implant to adhere to the breast pocket.
If the implant doesn't adhere, you'll be able to feel the implant moving inside the breast and not the breast moving as a whole. Xx

Re: Support bra
But after how many weeks would it be ok to sleep on your side?

Re: Support bra
Hi misty there's one person that asks ridicules questions on here, if it worries you then it's a perfectly normal question, this forum is so supportive and understanding, we all have worries after a BA and i guess they are what we all think of from time To time. I always feel so much better after reading some of the questions on the forum, its helped me no end.. It took me ages to sleep on my side even now I put a pillow down the side I'm laying on. X hope you are feeling more comfortable hun x

Re: Support bra
I wear a sports bra all the time - apart from when I'm in the shower. It just feels the right thing to do, my surgeon has told me I can sleep bra-less if I wish, so it's my choice.
I started sleeping on my side as soon as it was comfortable tbh, again my surgeon told me that was fine, it was about 2 weeks I think, with lots of pillows though!
