Update and Fake boobs being soo obvious...!

Hi girls, 
A little update from me. I'm doing really well. I've seen my surgeon and on his advise I'm going to bravissimo Sunday and buying a few underwired bras.

Bar not being able to run (I tried but was uncomfortable) I'm back to normal. Can honestly say I've found post op so easy, i think all the research I did and the fantastic advice on this forum has prepared me so nothing has taken me by surprise. 

Re fake boobs being obvious, the topic of fake boobs came up at lunch and a forthright colleague of mine commented about how obvious they are, how you can always tell and that men hate them. I sort if said that there are so many types of implants you can't know in every case and she was adamant you could - I announced that mine were fake and cue face drop! Another colleague of mine said she could have high fived me lol! My anatomicals clearly look natural - cause she didn't have any idea

Yeah am still smug now Anne, she said how awful they are basically and a few *facts* that just aren't true. Felt soo good putting it out there and the shock as she had no idea and was quickly back peddling.

Hey Kez, glad you're doing well and can get into some bras this weekend! I was the same with running, you need to remember that just because you're allowed, doesn't mean you body can just yet. After you've been fitted, invest in a really good sports bra for running and ease yourself back into it, walking a bit faster each time building into a slow jog etc. Your body will let you know what its ok with.

I would have loved to see her face! So may people have preconceptions of what a boob job is and the types of people who have them (thanks Jordan), and its so wrong its laughable!

Yes Charlii, know what you mean, I'm going to get a sports bra and one or two everyday bras to keep me going. I've been walking with the dogs and am fine doing that now, will keep upping the pace as you say. 

I was trying to say that women with big, fake boobs have chosen that look and that with some women you'd never know, she wasn't having any of it  Not that I have anything against women with obvious fake boobs - do what you want to make yourself happy :)

Tbh I think she would, she was the same size I was and told me "that's not small" and I was like, I'm glad you're happy, I wasn't. Felt like she was justifying it to us all , I don't care what size her boobs are, I don't judge her, mine are all for me, no one else!

I love a strong woman who can stick up for herself! Go you! Women can be so catty! Weirdly enough one of the mums at my sons school was telling me how ALL her friends regret there surgery ...my reply was my 2 closest friends only regret not going bigger, anyway , got told today she's been begging her hubby to save so she can have a BA! Haha she's also not come near me since having mine done.

You have to feel sorry for that woman really MI55NP, she's obviously in denial, why can't people just be happy for each other? 

Glad you're happy with your boobies, that's all that matters - to hell with what anyone else thinks!!

Lol Jen, that's what the girl who told me she could have high fived me when I said I'd had a boob job today said - that the girl being all righteous about it had issues! Well balanced people can take everyone's point of view into account!

I think people just get a warped view as they're so used to seeing massive fake boobs in the media so it's nice to get the true message across.

Re running, it took me about 6-8 weeks before I felt really ready to run, now I don't even think about it and don't feel weird or uncomfy! I definitely recommend a Panache sports bra...amazing.

Thanks Franbo, hoping to get a super duper sports bra tomorrow at bravissimo. I did manage to run but felt too uncomfortable to try again any time soon. Thought I'd try again on Monday. See how I go with a slow jog :)

There's where I got mine from! Love the disco ball Panache one, my fav.

I found a few weeks made a massive difference, now back to plyometrics!

Yeah I bet :) I used to look like I had nothing when I was running :(

My surgeon recommended wearing two sports bras for exercise.

The panache sports bra is amazing! They don't go anywhere!!

I tried wearing two the other day, didn't help, just made breathing more difficult! I think its more about finding the right one for you, rather than just compacting them as much as possible! I've just got a Panache, haven't run with it yet, but jumping up and down and jogging on the spot it feels great!
