Scar massage
One of my scars are really fine and skin colour the other is thick and still a tad red. Can I massage the scars? I sort of remember my surgeon saying this but not sure if that will help? It's not bad it's just not as neat as the other. Xx

Re: Scar massage
Rachel, 6m on you are absolutely fine to massage the scars. You should have been ok to do so from about 8-12wk (I was at 4-6). Whether or not it helps....depends who you ask. I tried to do it but it made me really queasy, so left them. Theyre ok, little lumpy on the inside, but that's normal. So go ahead.
Woowoo, you're right to ask your surgeon, but this early the scars are going to look odd. Give them another couple months and they'll disappear.
