Water infection...
I've had a call from the hospital to say I have a water infection and that the hospital have sent a prescription.
Has anyone had this and was taking the antibiotics the end of it? I'm so worried my surgery will be delayed.

They will be able to advise you when you collect your prescription.
In my line of work I have met many people who have urine infections & from experience the antibiotics are normally prescribed as a 3 day course, which more often than not clears it up.
Hopefully everything will be fine for your op. XXX

I'm collecting it from my doctors. I asked the hospital if there was any further I need to do and they said just turn up on the day!

Re: Water infection...
Thanks guys, I used to get recurrent UTI when I was younger, I have surgery and a 6m course of antibiotics which sorted it - guess that's why I'm worried. The pain with those was awful though and have barely noticed this one, so hopefully all will be fine. Will be gutted if I have to postpone my surgery, will have to be another 3ms :(

Re: Water infection...
Is a slight infection likely to delay my surgery? I'm just worried it won't clear up. Am cutting back on coffee and drinking lots, just worried!!
