Re: Water Park
It's not so much impact Hun as to an infection. At 8 weeks post op you'll still be suseptable to infection especially in public water pools. X

Re: Water Park
probably best Ambz.. you don't want to risk your new boobies :D
plus if its kids running about you don't want them knocked either - I know in a few months I will still be super paranoid about them getting touched lmao xx

Re: Water Park
I'd definitely give it a miss! It's like you said.. If you come crashing off a slide you'd be devastated and it could potentially ruin your holiday because you'd be so worried that you'd damaged your boobs or prevented the healing of them. Also, like mrsball says, you don't know what infections are lingering in the pools abroad.. I think you'd definitely have more peace of mind if you didn't go :)
Take care, babeee xxxxxx

Re: Water Park
I'm not going on beach holiday in April though so don't mind if I'm still in sports bra. I'm going to visit my brother, who lives in Estonia. And it's pretty cold there in April so I probably need a winter coat haha.
Bikinis need to come out at the end of May, when we go to Greece. Cannot wait :)

Re: Water Park
you'll be fine flying, just make sure you don't carry any heavy luggage!
and yeah def stay out of any waterparks or pools for that matter.
you also need to be careful in the sun, as the newly stretched skin on your boobs will be very easily burnt. best get yourself a high factor sun block and try cover up as best you can. also cover your incisions as the sun isn't good for them.
enjoy your holiday :) x

Re: Water Park
you will be fone to fly def I done a wee wkend in spain after my first BA then went to Tunsia 6 month after and went to a water park and when I came down the slide i went in front first and OMG the sting of hitting my boob off the water was sore
I did like I say go to Salou in the April too so just around 5 month post op and got burnt silly with sunblock on and the heat was only like 17c but if your a good girl and cover up you will be fine
or even keep the top half of your body in the shade of the sun umbrella i even done this 6 month on in tunisia as the heat was in the mid 40s
You will be fine but liek Blue said, dont lift your case it will be well heavy lol xx

Re: Water Park
HI girls,
I emailed my surgeon regarding this issue, well not the water park issue but swimming in general on Holiday.. he said i will be ok to go swimming at 8 weeks, depending on how well my scars are doing and he said NO direct sunlight to my scars ie topless sunbathing and no sunbeds... And should were at least a 50spf xx
