Post by gabriella101 10th September 2014, 4:12 am

Hey, I had my BA almost a week ago now so I'm in recovery. I am 5ft 8, size 12/14 and pretty curvy, I'm almost 12 stone. I selected natrelle Inspira 420cc TSX implants by allergen, they are extra high profile. They are still quite hard at the mo but I love the shape. I've been wearing DD/E sports bras.

I'm not going to lie, the first couple of days were tough, I felt sick regularly and morning boob was unbearable. However, I'd say day 4 was my turning point and the last couple of days I have been able to do the majority of things. I'm now only taking painkillers before bed and I've suffered no constipation. I do have a big old case of the Buddha belly though haha!

My stitches are due out on Friday so I will post again after that. If anyone wants to ask any questions feel free. I love my new boobs already!!! <3

Thank you :) what size did you end up and which implant did you pick?

Morning boob is much more comfortable now, first few days it was so horrid! What about you?

Wow! You really are doing well with morning boob easing up already. That was the worst of my recovery and it seemed to last forever, so go you! Cheerleader

If you can, get your yourself for a little walk too, it really will do you the world of good. Not too far on your forst time out. Just a gentle walk for ten minutes, or less if you feel you need to get back, you won't believe how good it feels though getting that first bit of fresh air in your lungs. Enjoy babe! Xx

Thanks cookie :) I've been up and walking around quite a lot. Went to the garden centre today and been on lots of long ish dog walks. Morning boob isn't bad at all now. I'm hoping recovery will continue being smooth. I tend to get tired in the afternoons but nothing too major.

Really happy with boob size, had a look today and they seem to be slowly dropping. They feel so big, I keep knocking my arm on them as I'm used to having nothing there haha!

Heeeheeee great isn't it when you've gone from nothing, to side boob you're actually and a new shape you're loving!

Made up for ya chick. There are few that do have such a good recovery so you really are very lucky indeed.

What I will say for those like yourself who do sail though is to be careful. When you feel good it's so easy to get carried away and do too much too soon and my goodness will you pay if this happens, your boobs swell and they ache :-(.

So be gentle with them lovely..... And any time you do think you may be doing too much, always air on the side of caution and do less rather than over doing it. It's VERY easily done Gabriella when your recovery is as good as yours. yes xx

Great to hear you're recovering so well. Just echoing Cookie really, make sure you take it slow as you can easily be lulled into thinking you're ok because the painkillers are masking the true aches, and you can do yourself a mischief.

I still punch myself in the boob a year on, you'd think my body's spacial awareness would have caught on by now!

Yes Tink, I don't think I'll ever forget either. My stomach was in my mouth reading your words!!!!  sick

Tinks telling me she's jiggling away running for the Train, and all I think of was how all the healing she'd already gone through at just 4 days!!!!! Would really hurt! and I gave her a right good waggy finger not to do that ever again, she was going to kill me my heart raced so fast I'm telling ya haha! The things Tink would get up to and then low and behold, 8 days post-op she's back to square one in pain and wondering why lol....this girl drove me insane didn't ya!  Hysterical

I haven't been taking it  easy enough, so that message is for me! My op was Monday and I've only taken paracetamol since then, but I think I could manage without! I've been a bit too complacent.

BTW what's morning boob?

Glad everything has went well with your op , if your managing your pain/ discomfort it's ok to do without the meds if you want to, but do take it easy & not try doing too much too soon.
Morning boob is when they kind of hurt/ache for a bit when you 1st get out off bed due to rush off blood when you stand up. It soon passes once you've been up for a while . XXX
