2 days post op! Update :)

I just wanted to thank you all for the lovely messages and well wishes :-) And to apologise for not being on here since the big day. Am staying at my Mum's and her Wi-Fi is extremely temperamental! I have tried logging on a few times and then internet disappears. Anyway, whilst I am here I thought I'd let you know that all went really well on Tuesday.

Mr Hamilton came to see me before and after the op and was so reassuring and lovely, I can't praise him enough. So to anyone out there thinking of going to him - do it!!! He's fantastic.

I am currently filling a 32DD sports bra, but had to ask my Mum to get me a 34D as the band was cutting into me too much. I am usually a 30 band so when the swelling goes down I imagine I'll be off buying another couple of sports bras! Expensive business, this swellling lark....

My arms aren't too stiff and I can move them fairly well but my ribs feel like I've been kicked and my boobs are very sore and extremely pointy! lmao! I actually look like Madonna in her cone bra! Except my cones are the real thing. So funny!

Using frozen peas so keep swelling down and drinking tons of water. Hating the upright sleeping and can't sleep more than a few hours at a time before my back gets too sore, but that's more to do with my bad back than the boobs so anyone else reading this, it's not too bad at all. V cushion is a must though!

Hoping to be back home either tomorrow or Saturday. I've got a 2 hour journey by tubes then train so I imagine that will be fun! Will be avoiding any bumps and am thinking of strapping a cushion to my front just in case anyone knocks into me on the tube!

Will update again soon as I can (hope this mesage posts). And I will change my avatar and upload some pics onto picturetrail once I am home.

baby girl aw... that sounds like it went well.. but the tube? no way?! I hate that when I'm not aching!! Def have a pillow!! It may get nice people to give you a seat... actually... see if you can strap on some extra bandages....on your legs or something...maybe they'll give up seats and make room? :thumbs:

Great to hear from you hun and glad all is going well. I had sore ribs too, especially on one side they felt very bruised. Fortunately this subsided within a few days.

Well done Opal Eyes. What time was your actual peration? mine was 9am on 8th Nov. Glad all went well and you are feeling ok. I posted my BA story just now if you want to read them. How much you can move your body at the moment? I am able to brush & wash my face and type this words from day 1. Can you flush toilet? I find that is hard on my arm and I did it on my first loo break just after the surgery by mistake and I was so scared in case it has affected my muscles and implants. but all seems fine by now. : ) Thank you.
