Update! 2 days post op.
Drama last night! Whole breast started to go purple, so called up spire who told me to come in and Mr Chana would see me at the ward. I got there about a half hour later, and Mr Chana saw me within another half hour. He said there was an internal bleed and I needed to go back into surgery. I was MISERABLE!
The Anaesthetic had seriously knocked me out the day before, I spent most of yesterday feeling or being sick so I really didnt want it all over again, plus a new drain and all the pain of having another surgery only one day post-op. But I had no choice, so they took me back in to surgery at about 1am. I dont remember any of it until this morning, where I woke up feeling tired but not sick. (anaestetist changed my meds to help)
I slept alllll morning and then my hubby came to keep me company, Ive been managing to eat a little, pee on my own much quicker than yesterday, and no major drama taking the drain out which is good. They are keeping me overnight again just to be sure, and then heading home in morning. I dont ever remember being so exhausted and sore.
Mr Chana says its all fine now, that it wont happen again and that although I will be much more bruised for the next few weeks it shouldnt affect or slow down long term healing process... Phew!
Thanks for all the support as always, hoping it is all straightforward from herein!
